I bought this frame as I wanted something colorful and a little different to frame my granddaughters high school picture. It did not disappoint. The color scheme I chose are in the blue family. The frame is well made and the edges are a thin mosaic like tile which brings out the blue background of the photo. It can either be mounted on the wall or stood up on a flat surface. I ordered the 8x10 frame and the photo fit well into it. The part holding in the photo is made of a thin wood like material, the same material used to stand the photo up. The clear protective sheet is not glass but a plexiglass. The image comes through clear. The frame was well packaged and protected with foam inside a box. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as I would have liked the different colors in the frame to be a little more vibrant and I thought the mosaic tile part would be a little thicker. Otherwise it is a beautiful frame and I am happy with it

Not sure why some reviewers had anything negative to say about these frames! You can pay over $100 for a real Capiz shell frame, and this frame looks exactly like those very expensive ones. The colors (I bought the blue frame) are just as shown. The backing, stand, and plexi all fit and work perfectly. The only issue for me was that, when opened, the stand could have been closer to the back so that the frame would not lean at quite as big an angle. I fixed that by attaching a short piece of ribbon to the stand and frame, to shorten that distance. This is a definite 5-star purchase for me! I highly recommend this little frame!!

I am very happy with the quality of this picture frame, especially for the price it was. It is sturdy and quite pretty.

This is the second year I have ordered one of these frames for a Santa picture of my Grandchildren. This is a sturdy becoming frame. Gets 5 stars from me.
