Although originally engineered for feeding the Goniopora genus, this product has been very well received in the hobby as an excellent food source for all filter feeding corals. The particle size of Reef roids is around 150 200 microns. This is THE perfect size for Goniopora to feed on. When using Reefroids, you will notice excellent polyp extension on all filter feeding corals. Zoanthids, Mushrooms and Ricordia will demonstrate a distinct feeding response. And with continued use, your filter feeding corals will experience faster growth and better colors.Ingredients: Unlike many other coral foods on the market, Reef roids is NOT made with processed fish meals or other ingredients that can rapidly degrade water quality. Reef roids is a mixture of naturally occurring marine planktons including a specific species of zooplankton that is unique to our product.Directions: For each 50G of your system volume, mix 1/2 teaspoon of Reef roids with some water from your tank. Stir this mixture unti Review: Good - Good Review: It’s not 45g 😡 - It says 45g in description and I got a 30 g bottle. Ottimo e molto apprezzato

If you have coral you need this
Using reef roids and polyp booster is the key to my success. I have enjoyed the hobby for 10+ years and sold many corals at shows and supplied stores. My colours and quality were all thanks to these amazing products and they were highly saught after.

Makes Coral POP
I was sort of skeptical about using this product in my 12 gallon nano cube, but it has turned out to be the best coral food product I've ever used. I used to feed Mysis shrimp. I found that fish and inverts would steal the shrimp from corals... I currently don't have any fish or shrimp in my tank, but I do have a serpent star and various snails, as well as an emerald crab. I feed the Reef Roids to my corals through a pipet, injecting the food (mixed with tank water) into every polyp I can find (My tank is vastly LPS dominated). I do this shortly after the lights turn on, and I think my corals are trained to eat during the day now... Feeder tentacles are always out. Pumps should be turned off when feeding reef Roids, otherwise the food will just flow away from the coral. After feeding, I leave the pumps off for 15-20 min to let them eat what they want. I haven't yet tried this with any SPS corals. I did pick up a Jack-O-Lantern Lepto the other day, so we will see how that does... I'll update the review when I've had it for long enough. I had a recent incident when I was away for 5 weeks, and the caretaker forgot to turn the main pump on after a feeding. Most of the corals were shriveled up and almost dead, and several polyps had bailed out. After a vigorous cleaning, I've been feeding the coral twice a day, and they are making a quick comeback; especially with Acans that were barely visible on their skeletons when I got home. The one drawback to this product is how easy it is to use too much. It introduces plenty of nutrients into the tank (which translates to nitrates). It should only be fed 2-3 times a week. Since I'm doing daily feedings until my corals are better, I'm doing 3 small water changes a week. Polyp booster, another product from the same company, is a great addition to a coral feeding program. I add a couple drops to my tank a few minutes before feeding, and it helps initiate a feeding response so that the Roids are taken in more easily.
