Boulder Cookie, Cookie Lemon Poppyseed, 1.8 Ounce

After going through a TON of testing & food elimination/reintroduction with a specialist, I was suprised to discover that not only do I have Celiac Disease, but my body has decided that it also can't process rice. Seriously...RICE! If you are GF at all, you know that this practically eliminates all products labeled "Gluten Free" as rice flour is a standard substitute. I came across these little treats & decided, what the heck? We were planning a road trip & having a ready-to-eat, sweet treat would be nice. Holy cow! These buggers are not only soft, chewy, huge cookies, but the taste is out of this world! Not overly banana-flavored, but more of a subtle banana flavor with nice big chunks of walnut. They are ridiculously good! I decided to try the other flavors as well & guess what? They are ALL amazing! As an avid baker & having baked several grain-free treat in the past, I can honestly say these are better than anything I've made. I can't recall ever saying that about another product. Now, the challenge is NOT eating these every day! They still are a treat, after all.

Boulder Cookies are truly wonderful: they are free of grains, gluten, dairy, GMO's, and etc., for those on a special diet. or just for people who want to eat clean, nutritious, real foods. This is a dense, heavy, chewy, fragrant, delicious real chocolate chip cookie that "bites tough" like a cooled-off, chewy cookie should. It is NOT crumbly! It has NO COCONUT!!! (For people who are on 24/7 coconut, this is a good thing) - and when you chew the bite, the mouthfeel gets MORE like a "real cookie", not less! Because of the hefty dose of almond meal, one of these large cookies fills you up and keeps you going, and without any blood sugar spikes and troughs. My daughter is taking two boxes of these to college with her; she sometimes eats them for breakfast, and since she has food allergies, packs one sometimes for the occasional a snack or dessert replacement. I would give this to a child, even a little child, with great happiness as the ingredients are so pure (although one of these would be too much for a little one; so you can share :) Totally love them, they are delectable, Real Food.This review is for the chocolate chip version, which is "original" ; there are now 2 new flavors which we haven't tried.

I've tried every grain/soy/dairy free cookie iteration out there and found that many other brands said grain/soy/dairy free still triggered my immune system. I've tried the double chocolate chip and chocolate chip and find they both have good texture (not too crumbly), taste amazing and best of all - no reaction. I don't have time to bake and love to have these on hand for those days when you just want a cookie!

I would rather go without cookies altogether than eat these. They are very heavy, too dense, not soft, and the flavor is a little off. I can't say I look forward to eating them.

Almond flour! Yay! I love these! I need to avoid all grains and nightshades - other cookies use these to substitute for wheat flour (boo!), so I was delighted when I found this cookie at Gabee Coffee in Boulder. I ordered a whole box from Amazon. THANK YOU!

I decided to order these Chocolate Chip cookies after having Boulder Bake's pretty good Double Chocolate Chip cookies. Unfortunately, these Chocolate Chip cookies aren't good at all. The taste of the dough isn't good and it doesn't taste a lot like what a chocolate chip cookie tastes like. The dough tastes kind of like those soft bars that use dried fruit as a base (ex. Larabar).

These are very good. A nice, flavorful option for a snack or alittle extra protein. I have many foods to avoid, this is a good choice. Only negative is they are alittle bit too chewy, hurts my jaw if I don't microwave first.

I'm gonna be honest, it takes a lot to fill me up. I tend to get too hungry and then eat too much!These cookies get me through entire meals when I don't get the chance to pack a lunch. I am satiated for hours without any issues...It's great! Stick em in my purse and call it a day.Oh and they are DELICIOUS! Chocolate chip all the way.
