Russell Hobbs Sabre Cordless Hand Stick Vacuum, 18V Grey, RHHS3001

7 months after purchasing this vacuum cleaner, the mechanism for one of the attachments broke. I have been able to return the product for a full refund. I have since bought a similar vacuum cleaner of a different make (and £5 cheaper) and it has highlighted how mediocre this vacuum is.I have vinyl flooring and no carpet. Most importantly, this vacuum has below average suction power which diminishes fairly quickly (despite regular emptying and cleaning). It struggles with debris larger than the size of a pea. It is lightweight and compact but somewhat flimsy. Be careful with walls- if knocked, it’ll leave black marks which are hard to remove.Since purchasing the other vacuum cleaner, it has really made me realise how below average this vacuum is. For £85, there are better vacuums on the market.

Its better for the floor. Suction is average but honestly speaking I'm happy with it as my first cordless as it picks nicely on the floor and not bad on the rug i have downstairs. Its not that bad even for carpet (depends on the type) for a quick run.And obviously the "branded one" is better, but there is a huge price difference. But overall im happy with the paid price (£29.99), as sometimes i dont feel like bringing downstairs the other corded vaccum. Would not pay full price.

Good quality as per prices of product

Suction could be better so I found that a bit disappointing. It is light weight which is good for me.It is ok for cleaning stairs, but when it comes to cleaning the car the attachments are too wide and the lack of suction is more frustrating then.

Iv had mine 5 month and don’t use it all the time and the battery is going and last 5 minutes from a full charge , when you turn it of all the stuff you have hoovered falls back out

Keeping my cat litter on floor down. No need to plug in and drag wire everywhere

Bought solely to use cleaning the car. Great hoover and picks up slot better than I was expecting. Only downside is the hoover is quite heavy. But easy to use and easy to empty. On the plus sides battery life is really good. Picks up really well even when using eco mode.

This hoover worked for about a month and then it started playing up. The brush bar stopped working and the suction dropped. I have just bought a new hoover, I won’t buy a Russell Hobbs vacuum again
