good lighting for tracing
I haven't used this light box yet but have turned it on and think it is going to be great for my purposes. I was delighted to get a larger light box for the price. I feel that I got a great deal! It is larger but still light weight enough for me to carry. It is flat so I can store it easily. It has a good, strong light and that is what I need but it can be adjusted for less light if needed. It came with two translucent mats, one has a circular grid on it and the other has a regular inch grid. Each inch is divided into four quarters which will come in handy for me. I have no complaints at all. The service was great. I would recommend this product.

Bright, Spacious, Great Lightbox Board
I purchased this lightbox and am completely happy about how it fits into my work flow. It came with a surface scratch on the black frame and the box was roughed up and resealed during shipping, but as there is no marks on the light board itself I am content with keeping it. It is unwieldy but, considering the size, that is to be expected. You aren't going to travel with this monster. The adjustable back light is an eye-saver during long hours of work, the size is perfect for large projects and the thinness of the board resting on the horizontal slats of my drawing table allows me to tilt my drawing table to a comfortable angle. (see picture) I can not speak about the durability of the board but considering the trauma during shipment (or is this a returned resale item?), it seems to be well made. I'll report back in a couple of months. I would definitely recommend this Lightbox board.

Great light and value
Light is as advertised and works great. I'm currently using it to transfer a quilting pattern to fabric.

Bright, Even Light from a Thin Package
This is a very good board. It is a nice size. You can still fit it in your lap if need be, though putting it on a table is more stable. The light is even across the whole board. The light is dimable, however I needed to read the instructions to figure out how (Press and Hold the power button to adjust brightness). The range of brightness is good too. The brightest is enough to shine through thick paper, or you can set it on low when working on thin stuff. One downside is that the on/off button is very sensitive. It is easy to accidentally turn the board off by brushing it with your hand or a ruler, etc. So it is best to rotate the board such that the button is far from where your hands need to be. Update: Lately, it has begun to need "warm up" time. For a few minutes after I light it up, the board blinks off and back on intermittently. After that, the light shines solidly.

Fabulous light table for an amazing price
I bought this to use for making fabric applique pieces in quilt projects. I looked a long time for something large enough for my needs and for a reasonable price. Finally I came across this one, loved the reviews it had, and decided to make the purchase. I am very glad I did. It's easy to use, a beautiful light table with excellent light. It has a large surface, so any size piece you need to work with (or lots of smaller pieces) are accommodated on its surface. My only problem was it was supposed to come with a protective bag for storage, and it did not. So I made one, and now all is well. Hardly a thing to worry about. If you need a light table, you ought to get this one-or you can pay six prices for one that may or may not be as high quality. I'd buy this one again in a heartbeat.

Lighted box.
I like how it lights up or you can dim the light. I love the size. It really helps with my appliqué patterns. I would bye it again. This is a must for your sewing room.

Great for photo silkscreen - UPDATE
This works terrific for what I use it for — I print out images on clear film, coat my silkscreens with a light sensitive emulsion, and then use the light pad to “burn” the image into the screen for printing. The light is SO even the exposures are perfect! 8.7.21. One day I went to turn it on and it didn't work. I contacted the company for customer support by phone and the fellow I talked to suggested it could be the adapter: I asked if they would provide a new one or if I could purchase one, and he said they didn't have them in stock and suggested I purchase a Universal Adapter. I did, and that didn't work. I followed up by emailing for support and this time was asked to send all the info on the adapter; I did, and was told I had bought the wrong one. I was told to get one that was 16 watts. Amazon had them in 12, 15 and 18, so I wrote again and asked which one would be best and was told to buy the 18. That didn't work either. At this point I wrote the company and asked if I should send it back to them for repair or replacement - it was still under warranty - and after a couple more emails was told that it wasn't in stock anymore and that I would get a refund. That came through today on my credit card. While it took several communications back and forth, I am pleased with the refund. In the mean time I bought the next largest light pad I could find for only $64.00 and it works well. Still don't know what happened but I am using this one on a surge strip.
