I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this Lang Calendar. It is made of heavy duty tag board type paper, evens the calendar pages are heavy paper. It should not leak through on opposite side when using ink. It comes with it’s own matching heavy duty paper slide in-case. I really like the lined day entry spaces and the extra space on each months side.

I bought the "Simple Life" calendar for my 89-year old Mom for Christmas. She loves the Lang pocket calendar she's currently using - it's a different theme. This calendar is PERFECT for an elderly person! The color drawings are cheerful, and most months have a cute saying - my favorite is "You are so extraordinary." I love the fact that there aren't any sayings like "Make all your dreams come true" or "Achieve your goals" because she is in an assisted living facility and sayings like that just aren't appropriate for someone in this phase of life. There is room to write 1 appointment on a day, maybe 2 if you write small; but it's perfect for an older person who isn't that busy. But someone that age needs to document doctor appointments and when friends and family are going to visit. She loves the size as space is at a minimum for her, and she like the included envelope that the pocket calendar slides into. Very nice; thanks!

Perfect little purse size planner (6.5 X 4.5) to have with me for all of my scheduling needs, and to get a quick overview of activities for my days, weeks and months, (and to avoid double bookings.) I love the slip case, keeps the book nice and secure. The pages have a coating that gives off a slight sheen, a very nice touch. Nice themed illustrations inside and out. The monthly calendar spans the entire two pages when the book is open. There are scripture quotes each month, and the individual day boxes are lined if neatness is important to you. This planner lasts all year without falling apart. It is perfect for my needs. I look forward to ordering these every year. I haven't found another planner that compares to this one for it's size, simplicity, and presentation. It does seem to sell out quickly at the beginning of the new year, so get your orders in early. They are amazing gifts. My friends and family love receiving these little planners.

I just bought this Lang 2018 Monthly Pocket Planner. I love it very much. I love the paintings of the cats. The cats look so real that you could pet them. I get this pocket planner every year. The American Cat is my favorite theme. I'm not very tech savvy so I still like to have a planner handy and I write all of my appointments in it. There is also great room to keep friends addresses etc. The compactness makes it easy to fit in most purses.

I love the Lang pocket calendars. They’re the perfect size for my purse or pocket. I originally chose it because of the large squares on the calendar which is great for writing in several appts or notes. Love the colorful designs from month to month. Been using them for 10 years now.

I have been buying this monthly pocket planner year after year for several years. This year is the first time that it doesn't include the Jewish holidays. That's a little inconvenient for me because now I have to check with other calendars and transfer the holidays into my pocket planner manually. I wrote an email to the company to let them know.
