Worked perfectly with the correct input voltage

These kits worked great for my intended purpose, which was soldering practice.I was confused by the paper "installation manual" that came with the kits (a half sheet explaining the basic working principle and parts list), because of the statement "working voltage: 5V," which led me to test it on a 5V supply, which didn't work. Coming back to the product page, I can see the title and description both indicate this is designed to work at 9-12V. Hooked up a 9V battery, and both of the kits I had assembled so far displayed the "breathing" LED function.A reviewer (who stated they did not buy this kit) thought the main chip should be an LM555 instead of an LM358. For what it's worth, my kits included the LM358 as described in the parts list and work perfectly as described.In my kits, the pin spacing for the potentiometer seemed a little tight, and the capacitor is close enough to the jumper pins that it could get rubbed or moved slightly when plugging in a connector, but for the purpose of a demo/educational/practice board, these are non-issues.

10 out of 10 don't work!
This product simply does not work. I assembled all of the included kits, very carefully and with the help of a high-quality soldering iron and multimeter and they simply don't work as advertised, I have ample electronics experience. They either light up without blinking or breathing or simply don't even light up at all!. After doing some research, I noticed similar products under different brands and they are slightly different in components, which makes me think this kit is not properly designed. Too many bad reviews with the same arguments.

Kits don’t work
Junk. Poorly made kits. One kit had all the wrong resisters and out of the 4 kits I made, none of them will turn on or work. I have verified all solder connections and confirmed everything is correct but they don’t work. I plan on returning back to amazon

Wrong parts, no worky
One review said he got all the wrong resistors. By looking at the schematic and the pictures, the chip they supply is an LM358 which is an operational amplifier. For this circuit to work, you need an LM555 which is a 555 timer. Completely different chip. No wonder they don't work. I didn't buy this kit because I don't buy things with poor translation for the description. Plus, why would I buy something from the "Dingdong store". That's the actual name of the seller.
