The Definitive Guide To Infusionsoft

I typically don't take the time to write reviews. I can't afford the time expenditure. But every once in a while, I come across a book or author that I can't afford not to review. Why? Because great good needs to be celebrated, and terrible stuff needs to be exposed.Bear with me; I'll get to the book in a minute. But I think context is key here, and I need to let you understand why I think this book is so terrible.See, we currently live in a society permeated with in-your-face rudeness coupled with poor-to-mediocre-at-best products/service. With that in mind, I think some of us should make it our honor to stand guard, and act as watchmen and watchwomen to stem the decline of our social structures into the abyss of moral decay. And one way to do so is by exposing the foolish and the fraudulent.Well, such is the case with this author and this book. But don't take my word for it. Allow me to do a quick verbatim quote of one of the insults he randomly hurls at his reader's intelligence. Here he goes on page 46:"K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid! (Can I say "stupid" in today's day and age? You already bought the book and it's too big to ship back and it's too big to fit in your shredder so please forgive me this one [and only?] lack of judgement.)"I kid you not; the above paragraph -- punctuation errors and all -- is a verbatim quote from the book. I'm not sure if Amazon has a 'Look Inside' feature for this book or not. If they do, please do yourself a favor and go skim to any random page. Chances are you will be greeted with some sophomoric junk either in the form of insults, condescension or some clearly deranged graphic pasted there to emphasize his usually jejunal points.If I were in your shoes, I'd search for another book or call Infusonsoft directly. There is nothing in the book that your assigned Rep at Infusionsoft won't share with you until you feel comfortable. They even have free videos and there is Infusionsoft University.If, however, you're the type who enjoys paying to be punished, go ahead: buy this book; you won't be disappointed.Believe me, there's plenty of material in the book to make you go "Ugh!" Downright silly and just plain unnecessary stuff that adds nothing but weight to the book, and ends up wasting your time as you try desperately to search in the book for anything worthy of your time!Anyway, it's your call. But if you're a busy individual looking to deploy Infusionsoft for your business, I'd suggest you save your time, money and dignity by calling Infusionsoft for help instead of stoking this fellow's already overblown bubble of an ego.That's it. Thanks for reading the review, and for hopefully helping to rid the literary world of intellectual vermin like this so-called author, who says that he has been doing so-and-so for "over 140 dog years [Sic]." I was hoping for more from this thick volume. I was an Infusionsoft newbie when I bought this book and I thought it would help me really learn the app. It didn't. Not really sure who this book is aimed at; perhaps the problem is that Infusionsoft can be so complex and intimidating, there's really no way that just one volume can cover it all.

The information is excellent, but not having an index on a dense 600+ page book is really, really inconvenient. Plus, the page numbers don't seem to match up to the table of contents, so finding a specific bit of info when you need it is near impossible. Too bad - a lot of work went into this book but without an index, I have to deduct two stars.

The Definitive Guide to Infusionsoft is an extremely in-depth guide to everything Infusionsoft. It's full of specific things you might want to do inside of Infusionsoft which I find myself referencing whenever I get stuck on how to do something in my account.It's all broken down into several different categories where you can easily scroll through the table of contents to find "How do I do X?". Each section then explains how to do it, complete with screenshots of what that particular section looks like.Not only that but Wes has some great content with tips for mapping out your funnel, copywriting tips, what to include in your follow-ups, and much more.One important note is that Infusionsoft is constantly updating their system, so some of the screenshots and instructions might be slightly different when you go to do them, but the bulk of the book is still very relevant and helpful to have on my desk. The help guide inside of Infusionsoft is definitely great as well, however being able to just open up this book and easily find a specific answer is often faster and more helpful because of how Wes laid it out.Wes is constantly on top of these changes so I highly recommend you join his list as well, as he is great at teaching how to use Infusionsoft to it's fullest potential. His other training is top-notch as well, so I highly recommend you not only buy this book but if you need any additional help, Wes is the man I'd recommend you go to.

Every once in a while you find something that is really worth the money and gives you what you've paid for. Well this book, the Definitive Guide to Infusion Soft is just that. It's a big book and it's loaded with stuff you can use to implement the entire system. Does it answer all your questions? Yes, I said it does. I looked and looked for something that really gave me the 'skinny' on Infusionsoft and when I stumbled across Mr. Schaeffer's book, I thought hopefully this is what I've been looking for. And I have to tell you it was that and a lot more. If you really want to make an investment in your future income, this is where you should start. I have to give him a five start rating.Dr. G. It has helped us expand our knowledge of Infusionsoft immensely, specifically on what the program is capable of. We started using the program years ago, and sincerely wish that we had been given a book like this from the get go. Although Infusionsoft is a wonderful program, its capabilities are almost endless. This book has finally allowed us to make sense of the whole program and really put it to work so that it is working FOR US now. It is straight forward, easy to understand, and very well organized. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! We would definitely recommend The Definitive Guide to Infusionsoft to others wanting an excellent tool for in-depth knowledge of Infusionsoft.

This is no sort of guide!For a start it does not have an index.It explains very little.It's evident it wasn't written by a writer hence the clunky style worsened by the poor attempts at humour.It's little better than the online user guide that comes with the software.Your cash would be better spent on beer or ice cream or similar vice.
