Amazing!
The metal protective case is an absolute must, regardless of how great you are at never shanking the ball. You might think your floor is level, but I assure you it is not! The metal protective case comes with three leveling legs so you can line it up perfectly! So far I cannot find anything wrong with it. I'm going to be buying an enclosure and projector next week. One thing for people who have a completely unrealistic view of the price of golf. The software the skytraker uses costs 99.99 annually, not one time. If you cannot afford this then you should not be playing golf. This is as close to an "affordable coach" that you will ever get. Their time is 60 an HOUR. The software has to be updated and therefore it's never finished. This is the reason for the cost.I saw a few unrealistic people complaining that they didn't get a projector and impact screen with this, and I was laughing so hard . Just the enclosure costs around 2,000 dollars with just the impact screen. I'm not sure why those people are playing golf if they are that financially strapped. So no you don't get an impact screen, projector, and free software that lasts forever. You do get to do great practicing and even long drive competitions. Now where it gets a bit pricier is if you want to play actual courses. Then you have to buy 3rd party apps that cost around 300-600 dollars a year. You can apparently play any course in the world, so that's pretty freaking cool because that means they mapped out the entire course!Anyways if you thought you were getting 20k worth of stuff for 2k you will be upset. If you have any common sense and you are just looking for an amazing launch monitor then you will love it!

Do not buy and worst product ever.
DO NOT BUY!!!!!! I wish I could give them a 0 I bought this item and spent a lot of money on it. It has never worked very well. It reads about 1 in 10 shots. I called them and they said you have to buy the $350 per year subscription for it to work properly. I asked if I could return it and they said since I used it once it was used and would only give me a few hundred dollars. I took it to the PGA Superstore and Second Swing and they said they would not buy it either because it is not a good product. Now since I am past the 30 days there is nothing I can do Please take my advice and absolutely do not buy this awful product.

Great system
We took quite a while to decide on purchasing the Skytrak. It wasn't the cheapest alternative out there but after reading all the reviews of the lower end simulators we opted for the Skytrak and we are so pleased we did. We have a garage setup so we can play a virtual round of golf anytime we like, rain or shine. Plus, with the driving range option we can get in some practice too. Shortly after we got it we had some problems with swinging clubs in the garage. Although we had virtually no chance of hitting anything it took a while for the brain to catch up. We had a lot of bad shots, hitting off the toe of the club and such. BTW, Skytrak worked perfectly, it was just getting used to indoor hitting. Glad we also bought the protective case because we hit a couple off the toe of the club and the ball bounced into the Sktrack metal protector case. If you are going to use it indoors I would highly recommend getting the case as well until you get used to the more confined surroundings.

Careful at Setup
Be sure to follow the directions on how to setup this unit. It is very accurate and fun but must be setup correctly. Also, it is a subscription product to play courses and expensive. It only comes with a driving range.

FANTASTIC...when it works.
I got this for Christmas and it started off great. Then I started having intermittent connectivity issues (even when using the USB cable provided for direct wired connection). Contacted customer supper sever times. Did everything from reset the device to uninstalling the software and deleting files latent in the program_files of my asset to reset USB cache. Initiated a return prior to my last day to get a refund from Amazon. Trying to decide if I try my luck again or not. Btw the warranty on this $1000 item is 30 days. After that, if you send it in for their team to look at it and fix it, that's on you.

Good product, but very slow customer service.
The unit arrived unable to detect any local WiFi network. I can see 9 at my location. After hours on the phone with several CSRs blaming my primary LAN with no fix, I was given a RMA. It took over a month, numerous calls and emails with multiple CSRs to get it back. It sat in the service unit for over 2 weeks untouched. Ultimately, they sent the same unit back claiming they couldn't replicate the error and didn't change anything. When received, the unit immediately saw all 9 available WiFi networks and connected to my primary WiFi LAN with no problems. Hmmm... No additional warrantee or discounts were offered for my experience. One would expect better service on an item that is in the $2k range with an ongoing annual subscription commitment. That said, now that it’s working, it seems to be doing everything advertised. Once you figure out ball placement; distances, spin rates, launch angle etc. all seem to be close to what I would expect in RL. I’m a high single digit with a pretty consistent swing. There’s lots of good data from a product in its price class. I’m currently using it with my iPad and the app is solid.

Great for small garage space
I have a pretty small space in the garage with ~12ft throw distance, which is too small for a r10 or mlm - but this skytrak side-unit works wonders.Works best with white balls with a logo or unique mark on it.There is a ‘lite’ version of the app that can run the range on a mobile device FYI.
