I like this case very much. The materials are high quality, it has nice bits of detail, and the case is pretty rigid which may make taking it off the remote kind of a pain for some. Some have complained about the button being permanently pressed with the case on. I did encounter that briefly, but found a fix. Verify your apple TV is unplugged, or else it will go psycho when you're trying to put the case on. Install the lanyard first if you plan on using it. It's completely optional. Also make sure the case is not upside down. The trick is to place the remote bottom first into the case, then ease the top half into the case to the point where the lip of the case is just over the top of the remote. Don't press the remote down into the case too hard on the top half of the remote or the button will stick. This worked for me and hopefully it works for others. This case is visually appealing and stands out from the other cases sold here on amazon. I give it 4 stars only because there was a little bit of trickery involved to get the case to not make the button stick.

1. This case is made from TPU not silicone. This is a good thing as I find the silicone cases fit sloppily and pick up dirt/dust. TPU provides a tighter fit and the lip of the case doesn’t flex when using the trackpad.2. There are no moulding seams on the case whatsoever, providing a much more slick and professional look matching Apple aesthetics.3. The 2 raised standoffs on the bottom provide just enough room to easily grab the remote from a table.Overall, I’m impressed with the quality and fit of the remote cover. Protection and looks are top notch.**some reviews have mentioned a tough initial fit on the top, wherein the case compresses the trackpad buttons. I found that turning the top corners inside out for a few minutes will allow the remote to be inserted much easier with no pressure on the trackpad edges/buttons. (See posted picture for reference).

Case is great. Fits on the remote snug, looks good and gives that added bulk that someone like myself with very large hands can appreciate. The reviews stating the track pad is hard to press, need to press the remote harder into the case, i had the same issue but once it was set in properly, the track pad works just as expected.The 1 issue that i do find accurate is that a standard apple charging cable wont plug into the remote easily with his case on. It appears, they made the opening just a tad too narrow and you will need to use your fingernail to widen the opening just a tad bit before plugging it in. You can see in my pics that the cable doesnt fit passed the lip and in my other picture, you can see how the cable makes the case bulge slightly when plugged in. Slightly annoying but good thing the Apple TV remote has a long battery life.

This cover was a little more than many of the others, but I didn't want sloppy, soft silicone. This was exactly what I was looking for.I am puzzled by some of the other negative reviews - I had no trouble installing the case, and the remote functioned properly afterward. Plugging in the charging cord required a slight wiggle to seat the plug, but was not an issue.The only reason I gave it four stars was because it doesn't come in other colors. This black case covers the silver back of the remote and makes it more difficult to locate. Make a case in rusty orange, and I'll give it six stars!

This is one of the better cases out there for the AppleTV 4k. It is nice and sturdy. It fits nicely onto the remote. It won't stretch like the silicone ones out there (I've had a few). It comes with an adjustable lanyard. If you happen to drop the remote, the lip protects the front of it without impeding functionality in any way.I'm not too fond of the actual designs on the back but I suppose it gives a little texture to grip. I just wish they made them styled like S***k cases to be more low key. That's just a personal preference though so I won't hold it against them.All in all I'm happy with the cover. It works as it should and at a decent price. I'd buy again.
