Really good way to feed birds
I've only recently discovered suet logs and am finding it to be a really good way to feed the birds. They absolutely love these logs, when I fill up the log feeder they go bonkers for it, bickering and jostling for the best position to get to the suet. I've found a way to make the logs last longer, to make it a budget friendly feeding method. I cut each log into three equal parts, and put one of these cut parts into each hole in the log feeder. That way a six pack becomes a pack of eighteen. I have found that one third of a suet log just nicely fills a hole in the feeder, reaching through to the openings at both end, and this lasts a day even when the starlings find it. I've noticed that suet logs also tend to make a lot less mess on the ground than suet cakes. I'm happy, the birds are happy and I don't worry anymore about my dog eating the greasy crumbs because there are none. Fab way to feed birds.

the birds love these
All the birds love these suet logs, and I buy the insect+mealworms, and the berries varieties.I watch parrots, rooks, starlings, tits, doves, wood pigeons, blackbirds all pecking away at the suet logs in my "log containers".The log containers are attached to a strong nylon rope strung across the lawn.It helps the birds if you hoist the line up with one of those poles for holding up washing, so the birds don't bounce around too much.I put a piece of broom stick through the lower hole in the log containersso that the birds can feed from above or standing on the lower perch. It gives me hours of pleasure watching them have fun bobbing up and down and pecking away at the logs.

Great value, birds love them, just beware the Magpies!
I bought a suet log feeder at my local garden centre, the suet logs there were a bit pricey but it looked so nice and I thought the logs would last for ages. I was wrong, the birds absolutely loved the logs and they were gone within a couple of days. This pack of 36 logs is a really good price, a fraction of the price I paid at the garden centre and the birds love them just as much! The smaller birds are particularly attracted to them, but annoyingly the Magpies really like them too and if you don't place the feeder somewhere they can't hang on, they decimate the logs within hours and the small birds don't get a look in!

Excellent value for money
Just ordered these for the second time. A very good price compared to the pet shop or garden centre. The long tailed tits and blue tits absolutely love them, unfortunately so does our resident squirrel, I've given them four stars because they are slightly slimmer than the ones that came with the log feeder, so the squirrel has no trouble pulling out whole ones! I've tried wrapping small pieces of card around the middle to bulk them out, and have now ordered a baffle (expensive pastime this bird feeding), hopefully that will thwart him! But still a great product.

The birds adore these!
Although a tiny fraction more expensive than my previous source, I've switched to these as I don't have to travel to get them, thus negating the higher price, but especially because the birds truly love them. They have attracted woodpeckers, all tits, corvids, jays, jackdaws, robins - the list goes on. We have a garden full of wildlife with many birds coming specifically for these logs.

They are too narrow for the feeders so wildlife can pull them out whole!!!
I'm a regular buyer of these - all the birds and squirrels love them BUT they seem to have got narrower so wildlife can just pull them out of the feeder 😖I bought a new feeder from Suet to Go as my existing one was a bit chewed up in the hope it would solve the problem but no, the holes are too big for the size of the logs you're providing now.Six logs gone in a day, twice = absolute waste of MONEY!

BIRDS ADORE THESE LOGS
Great value compared to most other suet log offers...trouble is that all the wild birds that descend on our feeders absolutely ADORE these logs, with the result that they are eaten in preference to the suet balls, peanuts and grains we put out in other containers.Highly recommended by me... and the birds.

I’m not partial to the taste but the blue-tits love them!
I bought these for my bird feeder. I purchased the insect flavour variety because the seeded variety tends to sow weeds under the feeder. These are very attractive to blue-tits and each log is devoured in a few days. I’m very pleased with the popularity. I was intrigued by the above star ratings that included one for ‘flavour’. I gave it full marks on the recommendation of the blue-tits.
