This works fine if you are going to use it as a toy, or have access to running water with at least 3 feet of drop if you want to charge a phone off the grid. I just hooked it up to an LED for my kid to play with. It seems to require about 1 psi to fully illuminate an LED, which equates to about 30 inches of water. I have no idea how much current it will produce at this pressure level so you will have to do some experimenting if you are trying to charge a phone or something. The threads are 1/2" NPT. To use the wire connector, search for JST-XH 2-pin connectors.

Works well. Very impressed. Can charge my battery bank off the small pond in the yard.

Good little gem of a power plant. I run my aluminum smelter off of it.

Output is completely overstated. Makes voltage though. Might be useful to someone.
