Personalized Reflective Cat Collars with Name Tag and Plated

I really like this collar and leash! ****MPORTANT: The only issue with it, is that it's NOT ia "break-away" collar.**** (However, I will be modifying it by adding a break-away clip myself) Aside from that,.... The quality appears to be very good, and the name plate is substantial and NOT cheap or thin, and it has a very nice "polished" finish, and the personalization was great! And it came with a 2nd personalized name plate which you can put on the leash (which is what I did) or on something else,..this 2nd plate also has a nice, "polished " finish. My cat, "Steinway" seems to like it, and doesn't seem to have any issues with it on him.

Just got this yesterday for our 10 year old adult male cat who insists on going outside for a couple of hours a day. His other collar had huge vet ID tags and I was afraid that he would get them hung up in the top of our fence or something. This collar is nice,seems to be well made,but is thick and stiff.I ordered the xs and I'll be honest, its almost too small for my 14lb cat. He is on the last notch, so I had to get creative to make sure that the end of the collar stays out of the way and doesn't hang down. The collar does reflect well,however,I feel that over time he will scratch the reflective material off,he has already begun to do so. I'm not mad about this because I believe these collars are designed for dogs anyways and not fornsharp,for sharp, cat claws.lol I'm hoping it will break in a little and not be so stiff and uncomfortable looking.Because I like the riveted ID on the collar and I like that it is so well made and reflective,considering my grumpy old cat insists on being outside maintaining his property from other neighborhood cats.lol One thing I plan to try and change is the fact that the tag attached to the collar is straight and not curved,it makes the collar awkward and not fit well.I'll try to bend a curve into it The smaller round tag that comes with it is nice and is small enough to hopefully not get caught in things.It came with a ring to attach it with,but I did not use the ring,I used a tie strap to lessen the dangle and to keep it up closer to his collar. If you are worried that your cat could get their collar trapped on something and may choke....this is not the collar to use,it is not a cat collar and is not a breakaway collar. It is also wider, thicker and not very flexible or stretchy. So please consider your cat's behavior and energy level before purchasing for a cat or even a puppy. This is a nice, well made collar but, it is not made for every pet. One should always consider their animal's personality before purchasing any type of collar.

very good quality. My cat is what I'd consider medium sized. he's about 10lbs but skinny. I went with the medium sized collar and ended up cutting off a good 2 inches of slack. I think I could've went with the small but I'm still happy. The metal attached tag is great also. very happy and would recommend

For the price, this is overall a great pet collar. I’m happy with the purchase, although there are a few things worth mentioning. Sizing: I measured the length of my adult tomcat’s current collar and used that measurement to choose the XS size. I would have expected him to need a small, but I’m glad I took the time to measure because the XS fits him perfectly. Material and width: The collar is both soft and sturdy. It’s about 1/2 inch wide, so it seems suitable for either a dog or a cat. I probably wouldn’t recommend it for a kitten because 1/2 inch is relatively thick for a very small neck, although there are enough adjustment holes that it could certainly be made small enough to fit one. Not a breakaway collar: This is not a breakaway collar, and I actually like that aspect for my cat. I want his collar to stay on so that he can be identified and returned home if he ever gets out and becomes lost. With a breakaway collar, there is always the possibility that the collar could come off, leaving him without his name and phone number. Name plate: The name plate arrives straight, but it’s easy enough to gently bend it with your fingers so that it curves around the animal’s neck more comfortably. Strap loop: The one thing I had some difficulty with was getting the end of the strap through the loop after fastening the buckle. I tried wiggling it through several times without success. I eventually removed the collar and used a flat staple remover to gently stretch the loop, which worked. After that, I was able to get the strap through without a problem. D-ring: The D-ring for attaching a leash or tag, if you use one, is nice and sturdy. Color: My biggest cosmetic complaint is that the reflective gray section takes up so much of the collar that the red version I purchased looks more like a gray collar with red trim rather than a red collar. My boy looks great in red, so I’m not particularly fond of the amount of gray. That said, having a reflective collar is important to me, and I really wanted him to have a collar with his name and phone number in case he ever gets out and gets lost. Engraving: I also think the engraving could be improved. My vision isn’t the best, and even with a magnifying glass, I find the lettering difficult to read because it’s narrow and not very deeply engraved. The engraving appears slightly gold-colored against the silver background. Black lettering with stronger contrast would be much easier to read. Shipping: This item ships from China. I didn’t notice that when I ordered, but it actually arrived fairly quickly. It was shipped via Yun Express, arrived in Los Angeles, went through customs as an import, and was then sent to my state and handed over to USPS for final delivery. Overall: Despite the few drawbacks, I think this collar is a good deal for the price. It’s soft, sturdy, adjustable, and the personalized name plate is a great feature. I especially like that it is not a breakaway collar because keeping the collar securely on my cat means his name and phone number stay with him. That gives me some peace of mind knowing that if he ever gets outside and gets lost, whoever finds him will have a way to identify him and contact me so he can come home.

Bought this collar for my cat. Moved recently and my one cat got outside and was lost for 9 days. So I decided to invest in a collar with information on it so that if lost again they can be returned quickly. Was looking at break away collars first but my cat snaps those off in the first couple minutes no problem. Also my worried with the material on those products was the information wore off quickly. For animal that has an animal knows that they can be rough and tumble so fabric type stuff doesn’t seem to last. That being said I decided to buy this product. It’s sturdiness and durability is what caught my eye. It’s a tough material with a metal engraved plate. It has his name and my phone number on it. It also has a hoop for a tag, which they also provide as well. My cat is kinda a chunky butt so I wasn’t sure if it would fit him. But I was pleasantly surprised that it fit him perfect with not a whole bunch of extra material either. Just enough to move it out a time or two. It doesn’t rub on his neck or cause any hair loss. I was able to add a little hanging cat tracker and it fit on the hoop just fine. The weight of the collar doesn’t both him at all. Only issue I can find in the purchase was it took a little while to get to me in the mail. Which I was understanding of due to having to be engraved and such. Loved the product so much that I bought another collar from this vendor.

I got this collar SIX months ago and am just now writing a review because I wanted to give it some time to see how long the product’s durability would last. I got the gray and black reflective collar for my cat with her name and number engraved on the silver name tag. I have to say.....this has been the BEST collar for her. She went through 2 other collars in just weeks that she somehow managed to get off of herself. This one does not have the safety feature (breakaway) on it so she is unable to remove it like the others. It did come with an additional name tag to hang from the collar, but I didn’t attach it just in case she lost this one too, I would have another name tag as backup. However, after six months, I am happy to report that she has not been able to remove this collar and it looks exactly as it did they day I put it on her. There is absolutely NO wear and tear whatsoever. She is a large girl (we tell her she’s just fluffy) and is a very active indoor/outdoor kitty. I just removed it to examine the shape it’s in since she’s had it on and evidently she likes it as she is meowing at me and licking it wanting it back on. So it must be comfortable. She has, however, developed some matting of her fur underneath the collar, but that’s my fault because she has not been brushed as she should.

While it took a few weeks to get here, I was extremely impressed with the quality of this collar. The custom tag embedded on the collar were inscribed perfectly exactly as I had specified. It was also very securely attached to the collar via studs that go through the collar. I was then surprised that it came with a second tag also inscribed in the same manner but with the tag dangling from the collar. Another surprise was that there is a reflective band on the collar that I didn't realize it had. I tested it with a flashlight and it is VERY effective. The collar itself is good thick leather and with good stitching work. Oh... and it's a small detail, but it also came in a lovely velvet bag. Still such small details show me that this company is very proud of their product as they should be. This is by far the best deal on dog collars so if you're looking for one, do not hesitate to buy from this company as they are absolutely worth it.

Nothing wrong with the product itself, but the sizing is completely wrong. I went by S for ADULT cat ( I have a large-necked, 6-year-old male cat, and the collar was huge. For obvious reasons, it can't be returned. Had to throw it in the trash.
