Amazing, Quality Case - Perfect for me
This order arrived quickly and well packaged no damage at all, even the box this Pi case comes in is quality, seriously. The case itself is sturdy, very well made and just looks like a mini megadrive/genesis should, the detail and print quality, colour and surface is excellent. The design of this case is immaculate down to the 16 BIT motif in gold lettering on the top of the case, also the word "Case" is in the same style of the original Sega lettering which is on the bottom left hand side, nice touch. The pack that I picked has 3 heat sinks (to help dissipate heat on the Pi itself) and a miniature fan which is powered through the case which helps to cool the Pi also, this does give a little amount of noise but makes up for this in cuteness! The case has an on/off & reset switch which is activated using scripts to safely shutdown the Pi, links are included with the instructions/assembly instructions in the packaging. The Pi fits very snug inside the case (I installed a Pi3B+) and everything marries up perfectly. There are two USB leads inside the case which connects to the PI itself - these activate the two USB ports on the front of the case (where controllers are plugged in), the other two spare USB ports (there a 4 in total on the Pi3B+) are accessed through a slide out compartment to the rear of the case which when used exposes the internet port in the same compartment. If you wish to connect an ethernet cable instead of using wi-fi there is a circular cut out in the case that can be removed to make this look more seamless/natural buy a black cable to match the case though, same for HDMI cable too. There is a power LED on the top of the case just beneath where the circular flip up lid, this lid is activated using the mock volume button which could be used to store spare sd cards, the SD card slot on the Pi is hidden behind another compartment on the left hand side of the case which mocks the vents. The case sits on two plastic (at the rear) and two rubber (at the front) feet which gives adequate grip on the table and also height from the table surface for ventilation - do not place this case on carpet the vents are on the underside for the fan. When not in use this case comes with a handy protective velvety type bag. If you are thinking of building your own console or just want to see an unboxing of this case look me up on you tube, I am currently making a series of video's which anyone can follow to make their own mini console using this very case (see photo's). I am unable to post a direct link just look up my name and logo. I am very happy with this purchase and am looking forward to completing my mini console build project which this case is perfect for, well done Retroflag. This case can house the raspberry PI 3B, 3B+, 2B & 2B+ - There is a brand new Pi out the Pi 4 - this will not fit in this case as there are different ports on this new Pi. Maybe Retroflag will make another case to match the new Pi in the future. I am looking at controllers to match my build so I do have a page on here (Amazon) but will not recommend these other parts of the build until I am happy with them - I will put a parts list up when I have completed and am happy with the performance of the other parts of the build. Good luck with your project and don't forget to look me up 👍

A brilliant and well-made RetroPi case!
This is brilliant. I had no idea what to expect from the little case - so many Pi accessories are cheap and flimsy, or not quite as pretty as they appear, but this case is great. The power switches are positive and feel solid, the case moulding is very high quality and the look is brilliant.Installation is easy - the instructions are very clear, but don't mention the fan polarity/side for push/pull airflow, so I just guessed and figure if air's moving, that's enough - the RetroPi inside it has been running without a fan without problems. You do need to route the cables under the board as you flip the Pi over, but it's not challenging at all.The USB/ethernet access is excellent, with enough space for a couple of low-profile USB memory sticks inside the case for easy access and updates, and the slot-out cover for feeding an ethernet cable through is a really nice touch. So much attention to detail, this case is a bargain really. The screwdriver is included, too. There's a cicular door on top for storing MicroSD cards, and it all fits together really well. It's a brilliant case for a retrogaming setup, and I'd recommend it any RetroPi enthusiast!

A great looking case and solid customer service!
-Edit to my previous review-When my MegaPi case arrived it didn't come with all the screws needed to assemble everything. The fan couldn't be secured to the Pi case. It took me a while to realise this as I was buying all the parts over a couple of months, and as a result the Amazon return window had closed. When I contacted GeekPi about this they responded within a day and shipped the screws I needed out to me. Great customer service. I will be buying future cases through them going forwards (my brother and a couple of mates want their own RetroPies after seeing mine) as this is the kind of company you really want to support. The case is great. Looks just like the Megadrive I owned as a kid. Wonderful build quality. I've put it all together and the buttons all work great. The safe shutdown switch is a great feature. My only complaint is the SD card slot is a little difficult to get into. I have to pry it open carefully using a screwdriver or knife. Other than that, this is a great addition to my entertainment setup.

Excellent, nostalgic case.
This is a great case for a Raspberry Pi. It has huge nostalgia value, and in combination with the safe on/off script, makes for a convenient, practical 'all-in-one' solution for a RetroPie setup. One issue I had was that the screws supplied for the fan were not of the correct size (too long), and the clips of the case were not good enough to hold the fan in place so there was significant rattling as the fan moved around. Fixed this by hot-glueing it in place, though.

The best Pi Case!
I have the Snes Case with working on/off and reset buttons and this is up there with it as the best Pi Case I have ever had. The flipping lid is a bit unnecessary!? But I guess the people who made this were showing off. The buttons already worked as I had downloaded the script on my Snes Pi case and used that SD card. The Unit is SOLID and really captures the Sega Megadrive in small format. The Pi 3B+ does it into this but a word of caution. Please. If you get a set of heat sinks, you must not use the small copper heatsink on the main CPU and then fit the big heat sink on top of this. The lid wont close. A mate of mines did this and he is using this without a fan. I of course made sure the heat sinks went there they did. The fan went on nicely and the whole thing was snug and not too much of a tight fit.Can we have a MegaPi with a MegaCD unit underneath next? Doesn't have to do anything.
