A Failed Performance

Ironically, it was a somewhat "failed performance"... by the translators. Though, in the case of translating Daniil Kharms, I should be careful not to be too harsh on them. Kharms is a "tough cookie" to interpret, and so is his claim of only being interested in gibberish. Truth is, it takes a lifetime to comprehend his refined, multi-layered "gibberish", let alone to recreate it in a foreign language.
