Test Leads Alligator Clip Electrical Banana Plug

This is a decent set of leads and alligator clips. The clips are able to grip large objects (up to 3/4"). No complaints there. The leads are nicely built with nice flexible wire and molded strain relief, too.One minor gripe is the male banana plugs (on the leads) are longer than normal, by about 1/4". They won't won't fully seat into most sockets. See the picture for comparison. The black lead is a typical 4mm banana plug for comparison. The red lead is part of the set being reviewed.All in all, this is still a very nice product. Just be aware of the extra length in case that would be a problem with your application.

I ordered several sets of different leads and all the others had some type of problem with conductivity. One was total junk. This is the highest quality of the bunch, but I did not order the high dollar name brand products. This one should do the job for anyone needing strong clips and good leads. Far better design on clip insulation but they are large so not suitable for tiny components.

Excellent clips for connecting my multimeter probes to my car battery. Alligator clips are well constructed, holds to battery terminals as well as smaller grounding nuts firmly. Wire seems to be high quality as well.

Use this to charge batteries from an AC-2-DC power supply that sees a constant 19 Amps...they have held up great...and clips are very robust...plated well, and hinges are solid...will buy again.
