Does the job nicely
Good product, really handy for drying the washing indoors when the central heating is off.No assembly requiredEasy to store away when foldedIts sturdy enough for a full load of washing.Would deffinately benefit from a timer function, but i will probably use in conjunction with a socket timer

Does the job!
After having the old boiler replaced, I no longer had the airing cupboard that I used to finish off the drying process of my laundry. I absolutely hate that damp, musty smell on laundry, where people haven’t let it dry fully. So I bought this heated airer, and a cover for it.I Love that I can put larger clothes on it.I do not dry my laundry from wet on this. I air it all for about 24hrs, to get rid of most of the ‘moisture’ then hang them on the heated airer to finish off. I use it with a cover to create that ‘airing cupboard’ feel, to make sure that my laundry is fully dry. However, after 4hrs of having my ‘just damp’ items on there, they were still damp where the fabric was not in contact with the airer. I then put my items flat over the rails and folded the wings on top, as if to put away. This then finished drying my clothes once and for all.I would’ve liked for the heated aider to finish drying my clothes, when hung on them, within the first four hours that I had it on. However, I have no other way of making sure my clothes are dry, when the weather doesn’t do it.Therefore, I now, absolutely could not do without it. It truly is better than nothing, and way better than a different brand I bought first.Easy to assemble, sturdy, good size and does the job, eventually.230W - for Those of you wanting to know. Also, DO NOT leave your clothes on the aider longer than 4hrs (if not drying from wet) as it scorched them and makes the laundry smell bad! (Lesson learned!) Still love this airer!

Great set of step ladders
I really did not expect a great deal from this ladder, the reason I chose it was because it was very cheap and will not be used that often, I am confined to wheelchair so I do not need a ladder but my son needed one to gain safe access to the loft to put the Christmas decorations away and get them down again when needed. While my son was unwrapping the ladders he was saying how well made they felt and was shocked at how heavy they are. Once unwrapped he set them up and we were both really surprised at the quality of them. Once opened they lock in place so will not collapse when in use, each step is really wide and has an anti slip rubber mat stuck on them, once opened it is level on the floor so unsteady rocking so you feel safe on them.Honestly for a 4 step ladder that cost only £29.99 you really cannot go wrong and I would definitely highly recommend

No instructions
You would think by looking that it’s easy to set up. Couldn’t be further from the truth. No instructions to say which side is which when attaching the legs. Also it’s as if the top bar of the leg isn’t long enough to be clipped in, but it’s wobbly and unstable if you do only do two each side. I’ve managed to clip the legs on but they don’t fold down, the clips are too stiff and now it folds upwards rather than down so storage isn’t easy.Spent longer than needed trying to rectify it. Simple instructions and labels would’ve made this a 2 minute set up rather than the half an hour faff I’ve had

These are sturdy ladders
These are a great value for money and very easy on the feet. They also have a safety catch on them when you open ladder out for use. I will be recites to family and friends.

Tumble drier is cheaper
I've only used this once, when the weather changed for the worse, around mid September. I laundered my summer clothes in preparation for winter storage. T-shirts and surf shorts dried, eventually. Heavy canvas shorts were damp to the touch after over 8 hours of continuous operation and this was whilst using it with a separately purchased airer cover.First off, this airer is absolutely useless without forking out extra for an airer cover. For that, factor in at least another £10 on top of the cost of the airer. In use, it will dry the part of the clothing that is in contact with the heated rail relatively quickly but the rest of the garment will remain damp, necessitating regularly adjusting the positioning of the garment to get it dry all over. This however is functionally impractical. Taking a single sock as a basic example, you can place it over the rail, hanging evenly but if you try to hang it unevenly the weight imbalance will cause it to slide off the rail. You could use regular pegs to secure clothing but where it's in contact with the heated rail will dry out excessively, leaving peg marks which would be unsightly on most items such as shirts, blouses, trousers etc.Even with an airer cover, this item will eat through electric and the only things it will fully dry are the thinnest of fabrics. If you're going to buy and use one of these electric airers I would recommend running the spin cycle after completing your wash, to remove as much water as possible, and to use it in conjunction with a dehumidifier, otherwise you're creating extra moisture in your home, with all the associated risks, not least of which is black mould. What seemed like a good idea is now starting to mount up in general operating costs and that's IF you have a dehumidifier. The power supply cable is so short it hardly even touches the floor meaning that if you want flexibility over where you place it, you'll also need a spare extension cable unless you happen to be able to position it directly adjacent to your mains socket. If you have young children, keep them away from it and if you have pets I'd recommend putting it in a room that you can keep them out of. In some respects, such as carrying and storing, its light weight construction is a benefit but in other respects it feels flimsy and prone to instability around children, pets and the elderly. However, it doesn't appear to get excessively hot, making it a little safer when in use.In summary, I could not recommend this item to anyone. It is more expensive to operate, in real terms, than a tumble dryer, producing worse results over a much longer period of time. I've begrudgingly given 2 stars because, in time, it will eventually dry some lightweight clothing items but, had I known how poor it is, before the return window closed, I would have returned it, without question.
