yum!!!
90% of the garlic in the world comes from China. if you pick up a bulb of garlic in the store and smell it you do not smell garlic. back in the day (yes, i'm old) it would be unheard of to smell a garlic bulb and smell NOTHING. i came across this christopher ranch garlic and thought i'd try it. Mama Mia! It is AMAZING. worth every penny. will be buying more of their garlic and other products.

Garlicky odor upon opening box and very short best by date
I received this item today and upon opening the box, I noticed a garlicky odor and was worried that the bottle may have been compromised. I did not see any breakage in the bottle. Today is April 16, 2025 and the best by date is September 2025. I am not comfortable using this product and as this product is non-returnable, I am very disappointed.

I like to crushed better.
I decided this time to buy the chopped this time but actually for cooking the crushed is really nice. I guess it’s just preference at this point. This is the closest to fresh garlic without preservatives. You can buy pricey, but a little goes a long way. I will continue to buy this and forgo my coffee one day.

Tasty - Made in the USA
Grown and Packaged in the USA. Most garlic is from China. It has no flavor. This product has lots of flavor. Really missed having good garlic. Eating it almost everyday now. Will be buying it again and again.

Christopher Ranch Chopped Garlic
Chopped garlic in a jar is so convenient when one is in a hurry yet wants to cook. The little squatty jars are so difficult to use because garlic (or chopped ginger) gets stuck in the part of the jar just under the lid that juts out. I often passed up those little inconvenient jars but then, low and behold, I found this large jar. The garlic is stored in olive oil--it says so right there in the title!Oh, wait. The label lists ingredients as garlic, soy oil, olive oil. I purchased this garlic because it was advertised as being jarred in olive oil. I did not bargain for nor would I ever buy soy oil. First of all, if soy of any shape, size, process method etc. isn't listed as organic it has been GMOed. Second, it is cheap much cheaper than cheap olive oil. Also according to the jar label one teaspoon of the chopped garlic equals one garlic clove. A recent recipe called for 3 garlic cloves so according to the label I needed to use 3 teaspoons. That is a lot of soy oil.The garlic itself is nice so for those not minding soy oil (or GMOs), then this would be a great product. However, I expected olive oil and would not have bought it had I known about the soy oil. The listing needs to reflect this fact. I'll use this jar since I don't use garlic every day but won't buy it again due to the soy oil. I hope they change that because I prefer USA garlic to imported!!

Best product ever!
If I’m not going to use fresh garlic in my cooking, I prefer Christopher Ranch garlic. It is so much better than the other bottled garlic brands I’ve tried.

Retains more of the garlic flavor that powdered ones
Works for me whan I need to add garlic. When I try to use fresh garlic, it doesn't stay fresh long because I live alone and don't use it fast enough to keep it from drying out.

Keep preparing fresh garlic!
Whatever was in the jar looked like brown putty. I could not get a refund on it. Didn't dare open it. Christopher Ranch usually has great garlic. Wondered how old it was or if the jar seal failed.
