Lowepro LP37184 ProTactic Quick Straps - Black

I bought a new backpack which doesn’t have a sternum strap build in, but does have webbing on the shoulder straps. Most ‘add-on’ chest straps either seem to loop around the shoulder straps, which I didn’t like the look of, or were for shoulder straps with vertical webbing. Although probably not its intended use, this fits perfectly on the horizontal webbing of my bag to add a chest strap, and looks almost as if it came with the bag. I may even have to buy some more to convert my backpack into a ‘skate pack’ to carry my skateboard, as the bag also has the provisions to attach two straps onto the back. The listing wasn’t overly clear, so was a nice surprise to receive two straps instead of the one that I was expecting. They feel well made and sturdy, so no concerns about them being fit for purpose. Really easy to attach and remove so I could even store them in my bag when not in use.

These clamp bands for your Molle bag are great. They clip into the loop system. Pop the little catches over and tighten them up. They have a quick release that is super useful for quick removal of items. The main tag can be locked into place once your item is secure. This makes sure it stays put and doesn't come loose. I had two with my lowepro bag and I was so happy with them I bought these for another bag. If you are looking for some clips tgat will hold some gear on, these are the best you can get.

These fitted onto my Lowepro backpack and provide additional tie down space, ideal, in my case, for strapping clothing layers onto the rear of the pack. recommended.

Great for adding additional gear to your Pro-tactic series or other bag would be benefit with improved hook latching to end of straps as they occasionally open by themselves when not tensioned by load, make sure to link snap clips when not loaded. Secures my 190 Manfrotto without issue.

Very useful straps, bought as replacement as I lost my original ones, my main criticism of these is how easy they can become unclipped from the bag when they aren't being used to secure things down. Several times the clips will unhook themselves from the bag as they are only being kept attached by a small pressure release clip

Could not find the gatekeeper straps that F-Stop sell for my Kenti backpack anywhere, but these are a great alternative and fit perfectly. Can't understand how other reviewer lost a strap, assuming they are running horizontally on the bag, if you put them on so the clip opening is at the bottom this would never happen. Mine do not appear to be easily opened anyway, and the plastic clip is def not opening without my permission!

Bought these to try on my Wandrd Prvke 31 as the ones they produce are stupid price for a pair of straps, happy to say these worked really well on holiday couple of weeks ago, thumbs up
