KitchenAid K45B Flat Beater for 4.5 Qt Tilt Head Stand Mixers, White

My KA stand mixer is an oldie but works fantastic. I needed to replace the paddle for a long time. The model of my stand mixer has a long number that doesn’t match one of them provided on the site description. I went to KA and couldn’t find my model number nor the PDF paperwork. Based on the reviews and the look and the fact my Amazon account showed I ordered this exact same thing in the past lead me back to purchasing another. I have a 4.5 tilt head KA and it works perfectly. I just had to adjust it the height a little higher. NOTE: I tried the flex edge which I actually owned one a long time ago but the one I bought from Amazon seemed to run too close to the bowl and squeaked. So I sent that back and purchased this. Much prefer this coated one to the flex edge but that is just personal preference.

World class. Wouldn't trade it for any other attachment. I have 20+ different use cases for it, and they're all amazing. Love KitchenAid and particularly love this attachment.

This is the exact same head that originally came with my KitchenAid mixer. It fits perfectly, attaches seamlessly, and performs just like the original.

I came back here today to replace - again - the paddle. I ended up here because the KitchenAid website is incredibly non-intuitive. I did finally find it, but it took me 3 tries. Anyway, in so doing, I discovered from another reviewer that there is a setting in the neck of the stand mixer that can be adjusted to raise the height of the paddle. Take a flat head screw driver and turn it counterclockwise until the paddle head lifts up off of the bottom of the mixing bowl. For height reference, put a dime down in the bottom of the mixing bowl. The paddle head should just clear it. I cannot attest to the quality of this paddle because after three tries I did find the part.

I bought this to replace what was not returned to me after a house fire. It fits fine and has worked for me on many occasions.

Works perfectly. I am replacing my previous one that chipped. I assume this one's coating will eventually chip off, too, but until then, this works.

Perfect!

Great replacement!

My old kitchenAid beater was chipped and I finally decided to buy a new one as this mixer just keeps on ticking 25 years after purchase. The attachment looked like the original. Was exactly as expected.

Como todo lo de esta marca es un producto muy bueno. Funciona muy bien y no se daña. Lo recomiendo.

Kitchen aid parts are always expensive but they are strong, durable and do a good job.
