I bought this book for my Mom. She loves it.

Bought this for our daughter, a mom of two little ones, for Christmas. Actually she bought me the same book when she was a young teenager 20 years ago. I was ecstatic to find the first edition offered.

I try to pick up every "Chicken Soup for the Soul" book that I come across. They are all so wonderful and the stories will have you crying over some, laughing at others, and also feeling inspired by some. They truly are wonderful, uplifting books. They are just perfect for days when you don't have as much time as you'd like for reading since each story is a short one. If you've never had the pleasure of reading one, do yourself a favor and pick one up...you'll love it!

I bought this because I needed a pick me up. I keep it on my book shelg, because I need a pick me up now and again and this works every time.

I was really excited to get this book- I am giving it to my sister as a part of a baby shower gift and I am actually a bit disappointed. Although this looks like a decent quality (cover has a few marks) book, there is no dust jacket for the front. The front of the book is completely blank. So this book definitely looks "used" simply because it has no cover for it. The inside looks to be in fine condition, but the outside is not AT ALL what the display picture makes it seem like it would be.

Purchased for my 97 year old Mother who cannot read anymore due to poor eyesight. She loves it.
