Works fine with CGE
Works fine with my CGE (both of them). William, did you actually use the "PC Port" or did you try to plug into one of the other ports? The PC Port is an RJ45 port, which is 8 pin ethernet standard, just like this cable...

Doesn't work with CGE
This cable IS NOT compatible with the CGE mount. The RJ connectors on the mount are 6-conductor, while this cable uses the RJ45, an 8-conductor device. Hence the cable will not fit the mount.
