Fortin FLU100.2 Electronic Systems - Flash Link Updater, Updated Version

My 2005 Trailblazer that I bought used had a Silverado ECU in it so when I was trying to install the Fortin module it wasn't working completely right. I had to call Fortin Customer Service to see what the issue was and this is how I found out about he ECU. They were exremely helpful and told me I need a custom firmware for the module to work in my car. An hour later I get a call saying the firmware was ready. This little guy here saved me from loosing my cool. I bought it before I needed it but so glad I did cause I couldn't have done the job without it.Crime Stopper Support assisted me in the issue at first and sent me directly to the Fortin installation manager to assist. I have bought other Crime Stopper items such as the SP-502 I was using the module to install. Their customer support is great and will be doing more business with them.

It works just fine, but it seems like they should ship you the remote starter with the correct firmware so you don't have to change it. And even after I followed the online instructions I had to call because the recommended firmware didn't work. Had to download another version.

After avoiding it a few times, I finally got to the point where I just had to get a bypass programmer. While I normally prefer DEI products, the Fortin/Crimestopper modules can be programmed to use the D2D protocol making installs easy, and in this case only Fortin made modules for my two cars.The software is a little clunky, but it all worked well and I was able to make the programming changes required to make my bypass module work.

Works as intended. I bought this to update my Fortin module. I was able to not only update the Fortin firmware, but I was able to change all the settings it came preprogrammed with, too. Not sure it was worth the price for a one time use, but I needed it anyway, because the Fortin didn't come programmed as advertised (not from this seller).

Powerful little beast and... latest version from the manufacturer - Hardware Vr. 2, Firmware Vr. 3.02, Date: 10/2014.And even though it says CrimeStopper, it is absolutely the same as Fortin Flash-Link Updater 2Successfully updated my Fortin Evo-All module and tweaked options for the following install.

This item worked perfectly. Ad stated that it was used but i believe it was brand new. Original sealed packaging. Thank you for a great item!

Wish I didn't have to buy it, but as far as the unit, it worked. Easy to use and configure the Fortin Evo. User friendly.

Have used Fortin products for the past 20 years and had to finally buy another programmer. Great cost too!
