Saitake rebrand. Good controller.
Ok so earlier I asked if this was a Saitake rebrand and after getting it I can confirm that it is. The box says Saitake STK-7007x right on it, and it's way less money.Overall I love it. It works really well and even fits my OnePlus 7 pro with a case, though anything more would be too big. Battery life hasn't been an issue for me yet, and overall it feels really nice and holds the phone pretty well. I haven't tried to touch mapping yet, but it works great for my emulators in x input mode.Earlier I had tried the pxn-P30 controller and it's night and day. The P30 didn't reliably hold the phone, and everything felt way more cramped. This controller is definitely the better out of those two, but I don't have anything else to compare to.Also it does have L3 and R3. I'm not sure if the description listed that.

Not perfect but solid enough
To start, the product pictured is the 7007X model, and I received the 7007F model. They are virtually the same other than the joysticks being concave rather than convex, the indicator lights have proper labels, and the button below the d-pad is labeled differently on the 7007F. I also need to mention the directions are basically useless, but I found what I needed online luckily. Beyond those flaws, the gaming experience is very good so far. This is the only gamepad like this I have ever used, but I do have experience with the majority of console controllers. Its not as good as a console controller, but its good enough for android games, steam link, and emulation on my android phone. It pairs very quickly, there is very little delay, and its comfortable to hold. I'd recommend it at $40 or lower, I would not pay more than that.

Unable to map buttons. Buttons not working. Complete fail!
This controller does not allow or better say detect your input. Example: tried to remap keys. It detected left trigger as "11" aclick joystick input. Both joysticks do not work. Pad does not work. Only key that works is the "b" key for random input.

Works great, fantastic build quality with garbage instructions.
So to start, I commute about an hour each way to work via bus. I love listening to podcasts/music and daydreaming out the window with wireless earbuds in. But once in awhile I like to play a console quality, story driven game (think Life is Strange or The Wolf Among Us). Even though these games typically have great touch controls, I wanted something more.So when I first unboxed it I was impressed by the build quality. As another reviewer mentioned this is the Saitake 7007F. Says it on the box even. Just resold through a different company. The spring loaded mechanism is so snug and snappy when opening/closing. It really seems like a premium product without the price to match. Very impressed there. It fits my OnePlus 6T with a case very securely, but doesn't have too much room to stretch further.Bluetooth connectivity is stellar. Compared to my PS4 controller, there is zero latency, despite the tricky pairing process (more on this later.) Have tested it and you can actually navigate android decently with it. Would very much recommend using the touch screen for this, but it's not bad at all to use the joysticks/button to navigate. So onto the one drawback, the instructions are complete garbage. I don't mean it's poorly put together or written in broken english, and that is to it's demise. It looks professionally designed and good grammar throughout. But, there are multiple different modes to pair to your phone. As mentioned, I use an Android phone (it does have iOS support) and followed the directions to a T. Fired up a racing game to test (Real Racing 3) and the mapping was way off. Thought something was off, so I tired disconnecting, forgetting the device and repairing. No dice, they list controls for PUBG Mobile (among others) and found out it worked pretty okay for that game.Did a bit of research and found out Android natively supports X Input mode, this is the same input that Xbox controllers send (as opposed to the D input PS4 controllers send.) I only recieved it today and could be mistaken, but I believe the native pairing mode called "android" is a way they've selectively mapped games (via software/firmware) without controller support to be supported while using this gamepad. They list 4 games that are programmed to work by selecting their respective profile (using the D pad and another button.)So basically it tells you to hold home + A to pair to android. Don't do that. Hold home + x and you'll pair via x input. I tried with "The Walking Dead (Telltale), Life is Strange, Real Racing 3 and The Wolf Among Us" and all worked flawlessly. Make sure to do this. I have no comment on battery life or longevity thus far. But, it's just as you would expect when paired properly. Games that natively support xbox controllers are mapped correctly. A works as select, R2 works as acceleration in racing games, ect.FIX YOUR DOCUMENTATION! You're just begging for poor reviews. For reference, I work as a developer and have a ton of experience in IT, so I thought this would be trivial, it was not and I had to search Reddit for help.Still, would recommend, I just don't know why Saitake is shooting themselves in the foot here.

Supreme controller for on the go emulation gaming.
What a amazing little controller, it feels so good to play for a long time. Instruction are a bit vague but once you get the hang of it, it's a wonderful accessory, I've bought like 3 similar ones for gaming on my phone, but none felt so good. It has 2 modes, one is touch screen mapping, it's where you put the desired button over any place on screen, once you press it, it does the same on the screen, nearly no lag, this option is great for games like Mobile Legends, Hitman Sniper and all on screen but to games. The other mode is direct controller, it's where you connected via Bluetooth, and it auto maps the buttons, this is the best mode for emulation.

Great mobile controller that works with xbox game pass
This controller has worked great. I have been using it for Xbox game pass and it works great. The design is very ergonomic and the battery life has been good so far. Great purchase for the price.

Didn't Last Long
It was a bit confusing on what mode to use. The app is a bit useless, I only used a couple times. I like shape and size of this controller. I wish the on/off button was a switch instead of a button that has to be held down. This controller only lasted 9 months.

Works amazing a must have for x box cloud gaming and a 1/3rd the price of the Microsoft version
Works like a charm. I have a Motorola zoom. Works on all Android games I've tried, can be used to maneuver the phone itself since it has multiple settings and works on point for x box cloud gaming also and being slightly smaller than an actual x box controller size wise I'm quite enjoying using it.
