Ford F-150
2014 Ford F-150 5.0 Coyote. Wanted something different than the typical Flowmaster and Magnaflow running around town. It’s not too loud but it’s not quite either. If your looking for that aggressive deep tone that will scream if you stomp the gas while your passing someone going 10mph under the speed limit then this is for you. I had a local muffler shop install it for me and have them put an 18” double walled 4” tip tucked up over the rear axel. I will say there is drone in the cab once your cruising in 6th gear around 50mph. I had the resonator deleted too so with the resonator it would probably tone it down a little and reduce any drone in cab. It doesn’t bother me though it took about a week to get use to and I hardly notice it now. I use to have a 5.3 Chevy true dual exhaust so going from extremely obnoxious loud to a deep throaty sound has been nice. The quality of the carven itself is awesome. You can tell that this company appreciates its customers as well. I called and talked about which one to order and the employee I spoke too was extremely helpful in giving advice on which muffler they have would produce the sound I was looking for. I have had it on the truck now for over 6 months and couldn’t be happier with it! they have a YouTube Video showing how they make their mufflers in house hand welded!

SOUNDS AMAZING
Wow, they sound amazing. I got dual exhaust and let me tell you that when I step on it..I feel the torque and chops pretty good. I have long tube headers and x pipe.

What a Carven TR sounds like on a 5.7 Hemi
The Carven TR is definitely worth the money. High quality welds and high quality metal. Super easy to install at home with hand tools. I had a muffler delete but this sounds way better and has got rid of drone on the highway. Also gave the truck a little bit more tip end power. Best $100 I’ve spent.

Rating the Carven TR series
A little bit louder than advertised. Had to put some resonators on to get the sound I wanted.

Very deep tone but it's not obnoxious. Won't wake your neighbors at cold start. Sounds grown-up
Installed on a GM 1/2 ton pickup with a 5.3. This muffler provides a nice deep tone. It's not obnoxiously loud. At steady cruising speed of (70 mph) the muffler is tame. Cold starts are reasonable. You won't have your neighbors complaining if you have to start your truck early in the morning. At WOT, you can hear the deep rumble and it comes alive. Now I have the exhaust discharging in front of my rear tire. I can still have a conversation with my passengers at a normal talking volume. If you have your exhaust dump underneath the cab you will probably get some drone in the cab. If you want to have the least chance of drone have your exhaust dump/discharge somewhere behind the back tire or around your rear bumper.

Nice rumble
Nice and deep but tame sound. It’s there when you press the pedal but quiet on highway on my 5th gen ram 1500. I may remove the resonators in the future
