Bought this for my mum; she has been using the same pair of hair Barettes for years as it seems the shops no longer sell these. She is quite fussy and was so so pleased with these-do note they are about a couple of inches long and a few mm thick; perfect for holding little pieces of hair back

They look good & just thr right size but, and a big but, no use if you have poor grip or arthritic fingers. Am returning.

Holds my thick hair great, no slipping during the day. I have ordered them twice now. They are easy to open and close.

Good product but sadly not for really thick hair, so I had to reduce the number of hair I could include in a clip for it to close.

Though smaller than the clips I am looking for from the 80s-90s era. The clips are made the same. One solid piece with plastic tortise overlay. I just use 2 clips of this size on my thick hair instead of using one longer on that no one seems to make anymore. If you put too much thick hair in the clip, the plastic tortoise overlay will crack, didn't break off, but snapped.

Barrets are tight which I like because my hair is thin and bigger barrettes my hair always falls out of but they're so tight that they're a little hard to open but that's easily managed
