Get the shoulders around
I've been out of golf for nearly 15 years, and am trying to recover what game I might have had. Found this little book after reading a synapsis of the infamous Ben Hogan book (Ben Hogan's Five Lessons). This one is not terribly well written, or well illustrated, but the underlying message is valuable. Stop swinging with the arms, shift your weight and use the shoulders and hips to get it done.

Good read
I've read a ton of books on both golf instruction and just golf in general. I find this book appealing in the sense that its not really mechanical. I think breaking down the swing in such a fashion is a disservice to the majority of players. I went from a decent player to a complete hack after over analyzing the swing and breaking everything down... Although I will say with that I have a good understanding of what causes various outcomes in the swing now. I think we all have the ability to make an athletic swing naturally as long as there are no harmful misconceptions. This book goes a long way to laying out the essential ingredients for playing and enjoying the game.. that's what it should be about.. enjoying the game. Would definitely recommend.

New insight for me
This book (Inside moves the outside) provided me with a perspective that changed the way I thought about my swing and improving it. I suspect that's the way it is with the golf swing. One needs to find the improvement approach that works for them. I was lucky enough to find this based on recommendations from members of a golf forum.

First golf book that really changed my swing for the better
This is the first golf book I've read (of many) that provided the mental picture of what a good golf swing should feel and be like. The description of how power/speed is generated in the swing was especially helpful. Highly recommend!!

Center golf
A must read for all golfers especially new golfers and those of us who enjoy golf. It clearly defines the golf swing and where an effective golf swing should begin and end. I truly wish I read this book twenty years ago ,many of the misconceptions and bad practices I've ingrained over the years would not exist today. Do yourself and read this book .

really cool book
this is a fascinating examination of the golf swing. not necessarily the first book i'd read about the golf swing but i'm currently trying to break 90 and i found this book's breakdown of the mechanics of power as it pertains to swinging a club to be clear and very helpful. kind of an odd looking book but worth it. pretty quick read.

The Art Of Golf In A Nutshell
The next best thing to having an instructional session with Micheal Hebron himself. Outstanding!

Best book I have read to help understand the physics ...
Best book I have read to help understand the physics of angular momentum and the real meaning of rotational force in the golf swing, a must read for hackers! A realativly old book that will help the old golfer.

A Bit Like Workshop With a Top Coach
I quite lie this book for more advanced golfers. Although if you are just learning it will confuse the hell out of you. This is a book that every golf coach would read and apply to student lessons. The book reads more like a blog than a structured essay on a number of swing ideas. It's hardly a book you read end to end - more a reference manual of swing ideas. If you are a student of advanced swing thoughts - great. If you are a beginner or over 20 H/C then probably look elswhere. Try Tom Watson's books and DVDs that are more mainstream. Or Charlie King's Red Zone book on the short game.

I found this to be an excellent book, well written
I found this to be an excellent book, well written, and if you are into the 'science' of the golf swing well worth a read. If you are familiar with the teachings of Ernest Jones this work follows on nicely from his theories.
