Just what I wanted
I love this real. Light weight and works flawlessly for the fishing I do. This is my third epixor reel. The last two I’ve had for 10+ years. I am a casual fisherman.

Best budget reel I've ever used
I love this reel. I got it for under $40 and it feels like I stole it. I like it more than my $100 Daiwa BG2500.So far I've fished the 3000 size for about a month. I've caught a few 30+ inch Black Drum, lots of big Jack Crevalle, Sheepshead and tons of other fish on it. It's handled them all with ease. I've even dunked it in saltwater a few times on my kayak and it's still as smooth as the day I opened it.All that being said, there are a few things to note about the reel.1. They run small. The 3000 is more like a 2000.2. The rotor and body feel like plastic. That's to be expected at this price and is also what makes the reel so light, but durability is a concern.3. The drag slips. Not terribly, but it happens.4. The bail doesn't flip shut smoothly when reeling. It sticks often and I have to close it with my hand.5. The line holder sucks.6. You'll see people saying you shouldn't use braid with this reel. They're wrong. I've put hundreds of casts on this reel with 15 lb braid and haven't had any tangles or wind knots. In summary, this reel isn't perfect, but it performs as well as reels twice its price.

Smooth
Works better than I thought it would. Great quality so far. Will update if it can't hold up to winter fishing in pacific northwest

Great freshwater reel!
Operates incredibly smoothly. Have caught a bunch of small to midsize fish with it, paired with an im6 graphite spinning rod. The catfish was the first real test and the reel performed great. Drag was super smooth and easy to adjust as needed. Using with braided line without issue. Incredibly great value compared to other reels in the price range (at least for the sale price I paid). Fast retrieval speed on the model I bought lets me fish a great variety of lures.

Good
Great budget reel. Tried it on the ocean, everything worked great. Missing spare spool.

Very smooth
It’s a good fit for my lightweight rod the bale had a crisp click that doesn’t need a lot of force to go from cast to reel mode. I have used it for awhile and it works like new still

Nice reel but…..
Nice reel. Very impressed with smoothness, until auto reverse broke. Returned and bought KastKing. Nice reel at 1/2 the price.
