GSM 3Ghz 4G LTE 18dBi High Gain External Magnetic Antenna Booster Amplifier WLAN Router & Modems Network Connector(TS9/SMA)

I install metering systems in pump stations, underground pipes (both storm & sanitary sewer), rivers/creeks/culverts, if it's liquid flow .. I've monitored/quantified it. I've learned to keep an arsenal of GSM antennaes on my work truck, most often up to eight different types and sometimes up to ten - twelve. In my business I not only have to deal with getting the best signal strength but also vandalism, heavy traffic sites and sealing antennaes in the asphalt/concrete outside of a manhole in lane number one/two/three .. or whatever, so I have a lot of experience with antennaes doing installations and maintenance every work day in traffic/easements/river bottoms, this is my life for 33 years now and I know antennaes. This is a good one, had a 12 db gain vertical magnetic base antennae on a rain gauge (GSM) today that had signal of -124 db and would not communicate at a Pump station located in a river bottom notorious for no signal. Installed this 18 db gain antennae and the cell radio caught signal immediately at a strength of -98 db. I sealed this antennae before installing with 3M SkotchKote and electrical splice tape before install to make it water tight & I also put the antenna on a 3" diameter magnetic base instead of the 2.5" base it is supplied with because I knew I was dealing with a little to no signal area at a pump station with heaps of EMF interference. A big thing when dealing with these vertical magnetic mount antennaes is supplieing a good ground plane of ferrous metal (Iron is best), for optimum performance minimum should be fifteen inch diameter .. a manhole cover is perfect. The ground plane does not have to be physically grounded to ground, just a large piece of iron .. if it rusts .. it's ferrous metal.

HNt miner only takes up to 15DBI

Tested this with a mofi4500 on tmobile along with several other antennae's.This was the only antennae to do **worse** than the antennae's the mofi came with. Most of the others were the same, the Proxicast +8 was better by a little bit, the Proxicast 8x10 white flat antennae was the best.But again, this one was so bad it was worse. And that's on all bands - 71, 66, 4, 2.

Excellent product, I work out in the desert and always struggled with reception, now its 4G Lte all the way where as before only limited 3G, lov it, value for money absolutely

I got this antenna because of it's flexibility - at 19" and included cable/magmount, it gives me an extra opportunity to pull a stable signal & with it's connector/included adapters, allows me to use it with my cellular gateway, cellular hotspot & WiFi devices. Build quality seems fine & I do see an improvement in signal for the applications I'm using it for. The magmount is strong enough to hold itself & the antenna in place on the side of a vertical metal plate, but I doubt it would stay in place in windy conditions, or on a moving vehicle.

In our area getting a decent connection was hard and with this I managed to get a more reliable connection.

TS9 adapter isn't even the correct size. So I haven't been able to test the antenna yet. I'll update after I purchase the correct adapter that should have come with this purchase. So far out of the box it's unusable junk. Update. The hing on this isn't even capable of holding the thin metal rod that they claim is an antenna at 90°. Do not buy this product. It is absolutely garbage.

It is good to use.
