Cute
My daughter loves wearing this and putting her treasures in it. It is a cute color and easy to use. It feels like good quality and the straps seem comfortable. It can hold a water bottle, a snack cup and maybe another item but is too small for her tablet.

Got this because we were traveling through the airport for the first time. I wanted to give her more freedom than just being confined to the stroller, but I was worried about her running off in a crowd. Life saver! She's pretty good at holding my hand most of the time but when something catches her eye she still lets go and bolts. She suddenly ran off at baggage claim. Thank god I had this! I also bought little wrist cuffs for her too because I wasn't sure what she'd be more receptive to. She definitely loves the backpack. She has fun wearing it and it's super cute. She even pulls it out at home and asks to wear it. She's not a big fan of the wrist cuffs. Struggled to get them on her but once they were on she wore them fine and they worked just as well. The backpack also has the extra advantage of being a backpack that I can put her toys or snacks in I know it's very looked down on to have a leash on your kid, but let's face it, it's an important safety tool that lets her still run around and burn off energy. I thought I'd get more condescending looks while using it, but actually I didn't notice any. I think it's because I don't "walk her" on it. I still have her hold my hand and walk next to me, while I also hold the strap and the strap is just for emergency take offs. Plus like I said the backpack is cute and kinda incognito so maybe most people don't even notice

Allows controlled freedom
This is the cutest little backpack. My son has autism and this bag allows him to have a bit of freedom without the fear of him eloping. It's pretty small and does not hold a lot, but it is great for holding snacks, toys, and a cup. I place a few diapers and a pack of wipes in there with a change of clothes when we are going on a quick trip and I don't want to carry a diaper bag. My son likes to put his toy cars and snacks in there and it gives him a bit of autonomy. The bag is holding up well and seems to be good quality.

Ridiculously cute, well-built, kid loves it
Toddler couldn’t be more proud to carry around own backpack. We’ve had the pack for several months and it seems very sturdy, well-built— and oddly enough it hasn’t gotten dirty yet, despite being dropped on and landed on in asphalt parking lots. (Great bonus!!) Lightens some of the load from the diaper bag and lets toddler feel more independent. Best of all, the leash works. My only wish is that there was a second front-buckle lower on the backpack, since the whole unit can shift when the toddler pulls against it, but otherwise it’s great. The D-ring is solid and I’m not worried about it breaking when pressure is applied. My toddler straight up refuses to hold hands and is super persistent and curious, and like to run straight into the road or to heavy machinery. My back is still compromised from pregnancy, and I wanted to let the kid burn off energy by being mobile (not stuck in a stroller), so this is a promising solution. I thought our toddler would have been resistant to the leash or throw a fit, but so far it’s been fine with just a little complaining on tough days. If nothing else, the fox pack is absurdly adorable and that alone was worth the purchase price.

Fit both 2.5 and 5yos. Good quality and size.
Very good. Used one each for both my 2.5 yo and my special needs 5yo. Let them carry a water bottle, change of clothes and diapers, and a small toy through the airports and around our vacation location. Leash wasn’t needed much but was glad to have it when one or the other decided to bolt.

Cute but straps chafe neck
Nice and tiny for my toddler. Super cute. Fits one or two diapers, a really thin wipes bag, a thinner water bottle and a snack sized baggie of goldfish. Downside is the straps are really close together and sewn straight. They rub the heck out of my son’s neck until it’s red. There should really be a curvature to the top part of the straps to form around the neck. Or at least make the fabric smoother in that area. I noticed some people in the reviews got a certain carabiner clip and others got the one I got which is like the photos. Nothing bad about it just something I noticed.

Perfect First Backpack for Toddlers
II bought the smallest Skip Hop backpack for my daughter and she loves it. It’s lightweight, adorable, and just the right size for snacks, a water bottle, and a toy. The zipper is sturdy and smooth, and overall the bag feels very durable. For the quality you get, it’s excellent value for money.

Practical and Safe
We love this! We have a very active 2 year old that has some difficulty with listening. His long legs make him quick, and we have concerns with letting him walk on his own but he HATES the stroller. We figured that was the perfect option for us! He doesn’t love it, but he doesn’t hate it as much as his stroller. We like that we can fit diapers, wipes and a change of clothes in it, so we don’t have to carry a diaper bag. The water bottle pouch on the side is small, but it’s convenient for a little one. The fox is adorable and a nice alternative to something plain. We used it on a trip apple picking and though we had some stares because our kid was on a “leash”, we had a lot of comfort knowing that he couldn’t run from us. The leash has a lot of length to it for a toddler to have a little freedom.
