The product is very heavy to handle

I was using this potato masher for the first time. The handle just bent under the Pressure when I tried to mash a well boiled potato. I had earlier returned a potato masher (same brand and model - Supernova Olrada) as it was delivered with the same kind of damaged handle. Is Amazon trying to palm off returned goods? Certainly looks like it. Dont be fooled by their claim offering this sub standard product at a discounted price.

Used this to drain out the liquid from carrots after grating and it's a blessed. I also used it for mashed potatoes and both experiences were great. Very well made product, the finishing is great and no sharp edges or such. Go for it.

easy to use

Makes it smooth & buttery. Perfect for Mashed potato, Tikkis, including mashing all boiled vegetables at ones for babies. Much less time consuming. All u have to do is put the hot boiled vegetbles inside & press for a perfect mash.

there is rust on top face

For someone who uses mashed boiled potatoes in a variety of dishes are often this is amazing ...my issue is to get enough leverage and proper grip I can put half a large potato at a time... having said that it's still very quick and perfect, leaves no lumps . The removable shredder plate makes for easy cleaning
