The definitive book on golf course architecture
Having recently acquired some acreage upon which I'm planning on converting into a small personal series of golf holes, I wanted to find a guide to get some essential wisdom on what to consider when creating them. If you ask any golf architect or anyone interested in the subject which book they would recommend you read first, it's this one.

For one of my heroic golf world characters!!
Robert Hunter is a bit of a hero for me. Both as an academic (Go Bears!), activist and for his multifaceted involved in golf history. The book is splendid.

The Links in paperback! Finally a more affordable version!
This is a great book! It’s very insightful and gives excellent views on early golf architecture. This is the first time I’ve found it in paperback and that is a big plus. It was formatted greatly and I enjoyed it very much.
