Be careful if used around children. It's a small guillotine with a razor blade.
Works great for cutting match sticks.

Excellent hobby tool
Great tool, very preciseOnly issue I had, the arm was not square, pieces had a slight angle, squared it up and perfect.. I would buy again, hope I don't have to.

Great Tool, easy to setup and use.
Use for scale modeling. Mostly to assist with the building of dioramas. Easily get straight cuts on plastic rod and tubing.

It seems to work pretty well though I will say the main nut tends to back out quite often leaving the arm to swing laterally so if you need a very precise cut you may want to check it prior to cutting.

Tried and true, simple and perfect for what it's made for.
Excellent! Great for very small stock. Go with the larger version if you want to cut anything bigger/tougher than a wooden coffee stirrer.

Mine was not fastened at 90 degrees
I use it to cut balsa wood for HO scale scratch-made buildings. The blade holder and the metal wood piece holder ("wall", called on a real miter saw) is not 90 degrees. Care was not taken when they were fastened to the flat brown wood plate. Basically, it gives very inaccurate cuts. Its off a couple degrees so you have to eyeball it and make adjustments. Its very annoying. See attached photo...a right angle ruler that's flush to the blade is not flush to the wall. If the 90 degree is off, all others angles (30, 45, 60) will be off. I plan to give it away or disassemble it and reset it to 90 on a new wood plate.

very small
so much smaller than my daughter wanted, she has learned to read the fine print. If you are working only on tiny projects this might be just what you need.
