I read the online descriptions thoroughly before purchasing but wasn't able to find many reviews on the Feiyu AK2000 so I wasn't sure what to expect. The camera that I'm currently using is a Panasonic GH4 with speedbooster and a Sigma 18-35 lens. It's heavy but still below the AK2000 6 pound rating. I had no problem what so ever balancing in all directions and its steady and handles the load effortlessly on the payload 2 setting. The touch screen is a HUGE bonus on the AK2000! There's no guessing what mode I'm in, its clear as day and even has a battery gauge that works! The screen is big and well thought out. It's very responsive and is instant with no hesitations. It operates the gimbal and camera functions perfectly. The firmware on my gimbal came with the latest version but it's a piece of cake to update through your phone app when a new one comes out. It connected instantly with my iPhone 7 through Bluetooth and the wifi from my phone to the camera did too. In order for the AK2000 touch screen to control the Panasonic GH4 settings, both wifi and Bluetooth need to be connected. At this point, I'm not sure how important being able to change white balance, ISO and other setting from the gimbal are for me. I know this feature works fine but in the short time I've used it, I left this feature alone and focusing on other features. Being able to control the capture buttons on the gimbal was a must and that can be done by connecting the supplied camera cable to the gimbal. I did find out by contacting Feiyu tech support that when using with the camera cable only, the photo capture button controls BOTH photo capture and video start stop. The video button does not work on the AK2000 unless wifi is connected.I received a follow focus with my order. This is simple to install, plug in and set up with the camera. It's controlled easily by the magic ring on the AK2000. My Sigma 18-35 has a very stiff focus ring and the follow focus really struggles to make it turn. Because of that, I can't use it with this lens but I hope it'll work better with some of my smaller lens. One of the features that really sold me on the AK2000 was the ability to see the camera screen while shooting. That was a deal breaker on another brand gimbal that I tired. The screen is not blocked on the AK2000 like it is on many other gimbals. I did't think this would be as big of a deal as it is until I tried the other brand that blocked the screen. The AK2000 has some features that I haven't gotten much into yet and some that I many not find helpful. The phone app is basic for controlling the pan etc. and updating the firmware. Also programming the rotation timer is one that I will use but just not yet. I've only had it for a week but have already used it on two projects. This is a very solid gimbal with some great features not found on other gimbals in this price range. I'm still learning all of its capabilities and will do an update once I've gotten thoroughly familiar with all that it can do.

The media could not be loaded.  Camera gimbal works great! Very easy to use, and battery life lasts a long time. The app that comes with it helps to be able to fully unleash the potential of the gimbal. I would definitely recommend that you add this to your gear of camera equipment. I have a GH4 and GH5 and tested this with both a Panasonic dual OIS and the large Sigma 18-35. First Gimbal that could carry the weight which was nice. However there wasn't much usable footage. Lots of little jumps that of course were worse on the GH4/Sigma combo as neither has onboard OIS. The best was the GH5 & Panasonic lens that used dual OIS. When running, would get a noticeable hit each time my foot landed, but not bad. My results were nothing like the few field tests on Youtube, they were worse. I've yet to dive into the extra features as so far I'm unimpressed. There is no documentation to speak of. Maybe my expectations are too high, but it's just not great in my opinion...but the others may not be much better either. I'll continue to tinker with things and report back if it's able to perform any better.

I tried a lot of gimbles in the last few months and none of them compares to this fine well-built machine. looking to buy. This is the one to choose. Trust me. In a few weeks, I'm going to have a video of what this thing can do. I was looking for a gimble to use on my new Lumix FZ300 by Panasonic that I bought thru Amazon and what a fine camera. You can use this on any camera. Anyway, the gimble is the best I believe that money can buy. So you can either trust me about this gimble or waste your time shopping for one in this price range I used gimbles that cost in the low thousands and this is right up there. The have a big brother to this one for a really heavier camera .but this one works for me.I do video work here inSt Louis,mo and now I have a gimble that will be in my tool chest when I do a photo job. I’m amazon costumer so I buy all my stuff from amazon .Don’t buy this product from any other source as seller examples ( amazon, B&H , adorama , .. ext) just buy it from manufacture .cause u will not find the support or any helpful info from FeiyuTech. And doesn’t work as describe with some product as lumix gh4 as cable only on WiFi . Was so excited when I buy AK2000 . Not satisfied.

I was new to motorized gimbals and I was turned off by the learning curve. However, after using other brand gimbals I regret not hanging on to the AK2000. It has a bit more strength with larger setups. The wheel is a bonus and the touchscreen is soooo much better than the guessing game of what mode you are in when using a Zhiyun Crane Plus.

first day upon opening the gimball, the battery cover broke off, had to glue it back. broke off again. only complaint about the gimball is how flimsy the battery compartment is made using cheap plastic. asides that the gimball doesnt lock the camera firmly in place. sometimes it slides away from fixed position itself. would have returned but the process is quite stressful and i need a gimball for work. been managing it since then. but its rather painful something i saved up money to purchase wasnt as i expected. price i pay for buying from the cheapest available

This gimbal performed well. I tested it during video shoots and capturing concert footage. I noticed minor motor shake at certain levels and had to make minor adjustments to balance things out. The locking mechanisms weren’t easy to work with and the slides for balance are not for beginners.

A bit heavy with my a7iii+tamron 28-75 attached, but otherwise it's very good. I didn't find any real cons at the moment

Buongiorno a tutti. Partiamo con il fatto che l'oggetto è arrivato puntualissimo in un giorno, spedizione Amazon eccellente come al solito, con tutte le garanzie per un eventuale reso. Il kit che è comprato aveva in omaggio il follow focus ver. 1, il bastone di prolunga in fibra di carbonio, una SD da 32 gb Kingstone (classe 10) e il cavallettino per appoggio del gimbal a terra tutto a €379!!!. Avevo già comprato un Zhiyun V2 ma l'ho venduto perchè non mi piaceva particolarmente.Questo oggetto è straordinario, portata di 2,8 Kg, testato con la mia Sony A7III più Sony 28-70 e Samyang 14 2.8. Totale massimo del peso 2Kg, quindi lontano dal limite, ma prestazioni eccellenti. Impugnatura comodissima in gomma e prefetta la forma del braccio posteriore che, essendo inclinato di 45° permette di vedere il moniotr della camera al contrario dei Zhiyun. Ottima durata delle batterie, mediamente una giornata sempre acceso. Per il funzionamento ci sono mille video su Youtube quindi non voglio approfondire, posso solo dire che il prodotto funziona da dio e lo consiglio a tutti i videari. Ciaoo

Il prodotto e' robusto, molto comodo lo schermo fontale per capire le varie funzioni, ecc... ma!! si c'e' un ma!come in altre recesioni lo sportellino della batteria si e' rotto al primo utilizzo.. dopo 1 giorno provato solo per tarare ecc.. non si e' piu' acceso, lo premi, si accende, lo schermo rimane bianco come lascio il bottone del power si spegnereso immediato.. sara' il mio uscito difettoso... resta il fatto che ho perso un lavoro.. ora devo aspettare il reso e ricomprarlo nuovo

Hemmed and hawed about getting a gimbal but finally did and SUPER happy. This this is very cool. Easy to set up — pro tip: go to the website, the included instructions are crapola — and easy to use. Came with a free follow focus and a 32GB card which are also cool. I use an Oly OMD-EM1 mki and while I can’t control camera functions from the gimbal (unless there’s a cable I don’t know about) I can use the follow focus without issue. Very happy with the set so far. As long as it survives my next trip to Uganda I’ll be a happy camper.

Qualité de folie, magnifique!Aucun micro tremblement dans l’image comme j’ai pu l’entendre...Un écran tactile au top qui permet de slider dans les menus et donc d’etre plus facile à tout utiliser contrairement à d’autres gimbal où il faut faire des clics à n’en plus finir...Les moteurs sont costauds et gèrent l’apn avec tout type d’objo sans soucis (lumix G9 + leica 12-60mm f2.8-4).La boite et les accessoires sont tres quali, pour le prix c’est fou!! Il s’agit clairement d’un gimbal dslr de gamme élevée niveau finition.La rotation 360 est juste terrible pour la créativité....3 niveaux de réactivité des moteurs.Se connecte à l’apn sans fil, du coup on peut faire le focus manuel a l’aide la molette latérale. Ca marche bien!Le follow focus inclus dans la boite est l’entrée de gamme, c’est une daube! La carte sd 32go est ultra lente, une daube!On achete avant tout cet appareil pour la stab!! Donc la carte on s’en tape.... la perche (rallonge) en véritable carbone est juste top! Ultra légère, elle allonge bien et donne plus d’amplitude. Mais ca allourdit le produit...Il supporte jusqu’à 2,8kgs, donc même en changeant de matos, il fera encore le taf.Pour le matos très lourd, le ak4000 existe.Je recommande, il est top pour le prix. Attention, il a un bon gabarit et pèse son poids le pépère.
