Overpriced, Scratch Easily
These Italian made fold-flat reading glasses for travel are less impressive than my German edition made by a no-name maker that I found in the local version of REI (called Globetrotter). These Twist Ones have the benefit/problem of being larger lenses (good or bad depending on what you want) and they scratch easily. Very easily. I've had mine for less than a week and both lenses are now scratched but I have no idea how. They haven't taken any falls, nor any impacts, slides, etc. Wish I could find the other brand, again... next time I'm back in Germany.Update: So, the seller saw this review (above) and contacted me to see if I wanted a replacement. I agreed to try them out, and they sent me a new pair, gratis, plus a different pair called the Nannini, which as the name would imply is smaller (maybe 20% smaller overall), but as the seller was explaining, has a harder lens coating on them, so should be tougher against scratching. With that said, I have to give the seller full marks. That's a different rating, so it doesn't directly apply to the glasses, but I'll try the new ones and see if they do any better. Possibly, the Nannini will l survive better.

Bought it for my husband who hates to carry bulky things. Fits well into this jacket chest pocket for reading restaurant menus.
