It seems to be a standard ALICE pack. Used to make a Chainsaw carrying backpack to clear trails of fallen trees.

First thank you Amazon. I did want a black shoulder strap and waist belt type frame, but the company I kept ordering one from couldn't come through for me. But Amazon did come through with this one. I have never use one before, and didn't know for sure on how to connect the pack to the frame, but it was easy to figure out. Thanks again Amazon.

It's a bit weaker and thinner of a frame than I was expecting, but that keeps it mostly light. It's not exactly that comfortable but it's also not that uncomfortable. Main problem is the included straps were barely attached at all and were extremely cheap thin straps, fell off when I put it on, and luckily I ordered improved straps with much better padding and far better attachment clips when I ordered this so this could actually be considered usable. It feels like this was rushed to be put together, and I feel like this should've been half the price I paid for. However, for a back-mounted monitor project this was the only thing I could find anywhere under $100 that could work. Still feels like a bit of a ripoff given what you end up with.

Got my ALICE pack today, lashed it to this frame...Excellent! Frame is exactly the one you want for large or medium pack.

It looks like the postman drove through a tornado on the way to my apartment, because the buckle was busted off and looked like a cat pissed all over it (there is some sticky residue on the fabric materials). The design of the frame itself is very nice in some areas, but lacks in some others. For starters, there is no padding between your back and the metal, which means if you strap some gear all up onto the frame there is a good chance that some cordage is going to be poking into your back. The frame itself seems sturdy, and the backpack straps seem to be in decent shape, they hold well to the top and bottom of the frame. I would say that it's an okay frame (aside from my poor shipping). I'm going to order a 2inch belt buckle to replace the one that got busted up.

A bit expensive but it exactly fits 90's style ALICE packs.

Fit perfectly

I applied the frame to a very rigorously demanding function for a Cosplay project and was exceptionally impressed with not only the strength of the product, but the comfort as well. It's highly versatile and the price point cannot be rivaled. I would highly recommend this frame for anything backpack related.

I swapped out the included belt and shoulder straps for my LC2 ones. This frame is priced right, made to correct size and fit perfectly. It is about half the price of most others on the market including Rothco.

Used it twice and the kidney strap buckle snapped in two. Not gonna bother with the hassle of returning. Now collects dust.

Worked great for a Ghostbusters pack

Great pack frame. Built to military specifications and very rugged and reliable. I've used it for multiple things besides carrying my ALICE pack such as transporting firewood, hind leg of a quartered animal etc etc Awesome frame, couldn't be happier!
