Pretty decent regulator for the money and better than I ...
Pretty decent regulator for the money and better than I expected. Adjustment to pressure is easy, smooth and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Couldn't ask for any more on that end of things. The gauges are a tiny bit iffy. If what you are doing does not require a lot of accuracy then they work great. The application I am using this for needs to be very close so I switched the delivery pressure gauge out with one that was much more sensitive and could not be happier. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. It works great and I am really happy with the quality considering what I paid.

Works as it should
I bought this to put on a Nitrogen bottle I bought to charge shock absorber remote reservoirs. The gauges and regulator work perfectly. I did swap out the regulated gauge for a different one with a lower capacity but higher resolution. This works better for my needs but there was nothing wrong with the original one for most applications. The nitrogen needed to fill a shock is very inexpensive, is estimate less than $1. Shops want around $20 to do it. Obviously if you have one shock to do one time, having a ship do it makes sense. If you have several shocks you plan to do regular maintenance on getting everything you need to fill them yourself. It is far more convienent and will save you money in the long run.

Great Helium Regulator
This regulator has a CGA-580 connector for connection to the tank of gas. I am using this regulator on a helium tank, but it will also fit a nitrogen tank. The regulator input gauge goes up to 4000 psi and output gauge goes up to 600 psi. I needed to connect a hose to the regulator; the correct fittings were difficult to find, but worked perfect in the end. The regulator is well built with easy adjustment for pressure regulation.I am using this regulator with a helium tank to fill a high altitude balloon. With a couple fittings, I connected a 1/2" hose the the regulator and to a 2" PVC pipe that fits in the neck of the balloon.

Seems to work OK.
I was hesitant to write a review on this product because I have virtually no experience with this but then I thought that the experience of a newbie might be worthwhile.Last year, I converted to nitrogen for both my truck and bicycle tires. I bought all the stuff I thought I'd need but the pressure regulator soon proved itself to be a PITA. The dial was small and when fully tightened, the gauge faced down making it difficult to read. The Uniweld RHP400 was my solution. When attaching the regulator to the tank, you can position the gauges to the needed angle before the final tightening. Also, for those who are new to this stuff, the two gauges are very nice. The right gauge tells how much pressure is in the tank and the left gauge tells you the output pressure. Finally, there is a fitting on the bottom of the unit in the picture. If you're using a 1/4" hose, it must be removed. Believe me, it's on there tight but it's easily removed if you mount the regulator on the tank first and then use a good tight-fitting wrench to remove it. Be careful because the fitting is brass and the flats can be easily rounded off.It took a few minutes of fiddling with the value to get the output pressure right but after that it's been fine.I would also like to point out that when trying to learn about this product, I called Uniweld and they were very helpful.

Good quality at a very good price
I used to spend $250 to 300 for a regulator. We have been using the first of these units for over a year and I just purchased two more based on its performance. They are solid units and have held up well. The thread quality on the fittings is good and shows minimal thread wear after 20-30 tank changes. The housing is very solid brass and has stood up to a drop or two. The gauges are decent with metal cases and a molded rubber bumper - we haven't tried to calibrate them but They are better than the typical low end plastic housings that I would expect for a regulator at this price point.

Quality product
It works properly like my oxy acetylene gauges. A bit more expensive than some but I figure it’s worth it for the lack of hassle

Great product for the price
It works as described. I have only cranked it up to 300 psi but it seems to be working properly. Packaging was new and there were no imperfections in the product that I saw. I removed the flare fitting and put in my own fitting and that thing was in there really tight. Still with a vice and a very large wrench it came off. Had to disassemble it from the tank because I quickly realized it was way too tight to remove without a vice.I am using it for CO2 and it seems to work. No foul tastes of any kind.

Does not read accurately
If you are looking for gauge accuracy this is not the regulator for you. it works ok for low pressure use. If you're looking to use it at 200 psi or above the out flow pressure gauge sticks/hangs. It also reads about 50 psi higher on the same gauge. The regulator pressure adjustment seams to work as advertised. Since I'm using this set up on a nitrogen tank used to fill tires it's not a big issue in conjunction with an accurate tire pressure gauge, however if I was going to use it on my Mig tank I would be seeking a replacement. Just my thoughts.
