Intelligent Network Video: Understanding Modern Video Surveillance Systems, Second Edition 2nd Edition

I have read a few books on camera systems before but this one is truly exceptional. I was already ecstatic after the first few pages. So much more comprehensive and up to date than anything else I have tried.

Really good book. Well written. I am just starting to learn about security cameras and this has been a great resource pulling it all together.

I am a novice when it comes to networking security cameras so I wanted a reference book with that information. This book is well organized and explains the various types of cameras and systems as well as the processes that go on inside the cameras/systems. It is very well written and easily understandable.

The one and only reference for all things surveillance and ip. Axis is going to be the Cisco of the security world if they keep up this trend of really excellent education offerings.
