Holds enough cameras, lenses & gear but isn't massive.
I searched for a long time to find a camera backpack I could bounce around and carry with me everywhere I go and this Burton bag is THE one I finally settled on. I can get my Hasselblad 500cm and a couple lenses in, AND a 35mm camera plus a 2nd lens. The top zippered pocket holds more stuff yet and my tripod fits in the front of the pack. IfI wanted to eliminate a lens or two I could get all 3 of my cameras in with a bit of room to spare. Oh and recently I carried an additional 1930s folding camera in a side pocket! This pack is versatile enough for sure!Made by snowboarders for rugged use and mobility, the interior camera compartment is customizable with hook-&-loop panels so you can configure it to fit your own gear. It's not exactly waterproof but I bet it'd be OK in anything but a downpour. I absolve that you lay the thing on its face and zip the back open- so when you put it on again you're not getting dirt all over yourself.I use this bag to take my film cameras out to outdoor vintage car & motorcycle meets and it works really really well for me. Best of all its not massive, as so many camera bags and backpacks are. The Burton Zoom Camera backpack is fantastic and I'm glad I found it.

Must buy for snowboarding photography.
This is an amazing backpack. I did a lot of research before buying this. So I wore this up the mountain with my camera equipment in it and used it for snowboarding. It’s light and the weight distributed nicely. Didn’t throw me off balance or anything. Actually might’ve corrected my positioning by wearing it. The camera protection part opens from the back to keep is safe from theft. It’s thick and padded well. So your camera will be safe even in wipeouts. It isn’t waterproof but in the snow you don’t need that as it won’t be warm enough for any to melt and get into your camera. Great purchase. Highly recommend it. I’ll use it everywhere as my camera bag.

It's a nice pack and worth the investment
This lived up to my expectations. It's more money than I've ever spent on a camera bag so was a bit nervous but I was able to fit two Nikon DX bodies, one with an 80-200 and the other with various shorter lenses attached. Also fit a 3rd lens and SB-700 flash with room to spare in the main compartment. Did almost a weeks worth of day hikes on the North Shore of Lake Superior the week after I got this and found it to be comfortable on my back and durable.

AWESOME FILM BACKPACK! BMX REVIEW!
Great backpack, I fit a HMC150 in the back and a Sony a7ii in the top pouch. Fits well, I'm a bigger dude and there is enough strap so the backpack fits comfortably and the skate straps work excellently! 5 out of 5 all day!

AWESOME BAG!
Burton has incredibly good construction. I love their bags. I have their larger backpack that looks almost identical, but it's just slightly larger than what's allowed as an international carry-on. When I travel I'm mainly taking gear for landscape and travel shots. I won't need long lenses. So I bought this one and it works great! It's durable, comfortable, and carries a lot of gear.

Rugged and durable
This is one of the better camera bags I've owned and I'm definitely a fan. Fits my two canon bodies, four lenses, flashes, batteries, accessories, skateboard and tripod all at once. The bag is made with a tough outer fabric, and has plenty of little pockets for storage so don't be afraid to take it on outdoor trips. Happy with this!

Pretty sweet understated photo backpack.
Pretty sweet backpack. Lots of pockets. Looks great. Doesn't seem over-pocketed. Nice and subtle 'Burton' logo.Note: The 'tripod holder' seen in the photo provided by Burton is really just a little string loop. Although I was able to jam and strap my FEISOL Elite Tripod CT-3472LV Rapid in the back. Fits like a charm. This tripod is a beast, and it fits in there, centered. Actually much better weight distribution than if it were on the side.

Mixed feelings, hard to find what I want, but this is pretty damned close.
I'm mostly satisfied with the bag, I would give it 3.5 stars if I could. Doesn't quite merit four though in my opinion. I probably should have realized by looking up reviews and stuff online prior to purchasing but the inner foam pocketed area is very separated from the rest of the bag. It can only be accessed from the layer of material that would be against your back when wearing the bag. The top zipper, that would open the majority of the bag in most backpacks, only opens up to a very small area above the foam stuff. So there's not a heck of a lot of easy access space in the bag, the vast majority of space is used by the foam compartments. That being said, the foam layout is great, can be rearranged a bit, fits my DSLR and other fragile goods, I guess when I saw it online I was expecting the foam area to take up about 30% less space than it does, it currently has a *lot* of protected space, more than I need by a long shot. I would prefer to have that space simply be accessible from the top main zipper, however it's all stitched so that even if you remove some of the foam segments the top zipper pouch as zero access. I'm handy with needle and thread, and have some proper thread for this stuff, I'm considering cutting along part of the inside pouch and adding yet another zipper, or maybe just a velcro latch, so that I can reach in and put/take things out of the foam areas from the *top* of the bag instead of the back of it. The outside compartments are my saving grace here, I can throw a pair of jeans or a hoodie in the front non zippered compartment and use the straps to keep it tied down. The compartment for holding drinks truly is "oversized" as they say, not too large though, but could easily hold at least two regular sized water bottles. It holds my 1.4L nalgene container with enough space to put in a 600ml bottle of water etc. There's a pouch on the other side of the bag from the water holder that seems mostly useless though. It's stiched so that you could only fit a cellphone in it, the fabric is very tight along the side of the backpack, won't stretch out or anything like that. At one point I had thrown some scissors in it because I felt safe that the metal bits would be kept snug and wouldn't possibly tear a hole. Limited uses though for that pocket, seems strange to me that it's so tightly stitched.Jeez, never thought I'd be interested in designing bags.

Very satisfied
Really comfortable the wear and just the right amount of space for carrying my two bodies and three lenses, plus flashes.
