Mega Sudoku 16x16 - Extreme - Volume 33 - 276 Puzzles

Great puzzles. Book has a little sample in the back of different style puzzles to try which was a cool surprise. The only downside is that there are 2 puzzles per page which makes the boxes very small if you like to write down possible numbers inside ... especially when you have 16 possibilities. I mean having 2 puzzles per page gives you a lot of puzzles to solve but they are a little too small for my taste.

The description gives the impression these puzzles will be very challenging. That is misleading. I have 3 complaints about this Sudoku book;1. I was expecting the puzzles to be on par with the 5 star difficulty rating I find in my local newpaper (The Oregonian). This book was comparable to the 3 star ratings I find in the newspaper.2. The puzzles are 16 x 16 but I was expecting them to be hexidecimal (e.g. 1-9, A-F). Instead, they are all 1-16 or 0-15. This makes it difficult when I make notes since is my "12" note meaning "1,2" or "12". Sure, I can add a comma or slash but you will find these puzzles do not offer much room for notes inside the squares of the puzzle. I have been reworking the puzzles and using a pen to convert the puzzles to 1-9, A-F.3. You have 2 puzzles per page and the page is 8.5 x 11. Sounds like lots of room but it turns out each of the puzzle squares do not offer very much room for notes.

I absolutely love this puzzle book! I ordered it over the summer (may 2020) and am still working hard on it (nov 2020).It’s challenging, well put together and tons of fun.

yeah, 16x16 is big, but theyre no 25x25.

It is loaded with puzzles, even has a few pages of different types of Sudoku puzzles. Love it. Thank you

Perfectly hard and time consuming as you would expect with a 16x16 puzzle, I love it

There are so many different types of Sudoku in this book. I only expected the 16x16 puzzles, but they had others that you could try out as well. It is very nice. And the first night I had it, I spent over 2 hours on the puzzles!

If you like a challenge this is for you. I'm really enjoying doing the puzzles.

I purchase these for my mom who is an avid player. She loves the mega sudoko and the 16x16 helps her to see better. Hope they continue coming out with new volumes!
