Clean and crisp sound
I renewed a pair of old15 inch crate brand pa speakers, that had scratchy on one and dead tweeter on the other,,removed the cap because the speakers have internal crossovers both rated at 8ohm 150 watt rms,,300 peak,,and they sound better then when they were new,,btw they are repairable with a 25.4 mm repair diaphragm replacement that is readily available and affordable

Crisp and crisp but REALLY BRIGHT and painful
If you want high ear piercing highs to keep up with mega subs I'd say it will do the trick but as far as listening SQ nooope, with some crossover work and EQ maby sound ok...? They have such a high db sensitivity you MUST have your crossovers lower the sensitivity down to the midbass (like you do anyway) down to the 85 to 90ish db of most drivers are or they overwhelm the mids and lows. I am BAFFLED with the people saying "sounds great" SQ wise they sound awful! Yes They are loud, HEAVY and take some serious power, they have a monster motor and very sensitive not much power to get em screaming I can't imagine 75 watts on em. But they are also hissy and ear piercing... If they were for pro audio doing DJ work yes prob great wind the wattage to em and send the highs out 100 yards. I put one in a 2 way bookshelf speaker for kicks fourtunatly they have an L-pad so you could dial it back then it's tolerable but all I hear is bass mids and tinny hissy highs that were no lie literly painful. I'm sure they have there place but for daily music litsining hell no, for insane db overwhelming painful unenjoyable highs absolutely 100%...
