Really good results for cheap
This kit was my first foray into color film development and it made it a good experience. I've done B&W development for a while, but I'm more of a color shooter so I was glad to be able to pick this up and get good results.Make sure your chemicals are warmed and maintained to the correct temperatures, don't overdevelop or under fix(I increased to 10 minutes instead of the 8 minutes in the instructions and got better results; its hard to over fix but easy to under fix) , and follow the 2% time increase per roll developed and you'll have no issues. I've developed 10 rolls of 35mm currently and still going strong.I would highly suggest this kit if you want to get into color film developing without wanting a seperate black and fix stage. After you see how easy this is, I'd suggest upgrading to a kit that has a seperate bleach and fix, because it'll really help your highlights and shadows.

Made me feel like Walter White - just without the illicit substances.
"Feels Like I’m Cooking Up Film, Not Crystals—But Just as Satisfying."This CineStill CS41 kit turns your bathroom into a mad scientist’s playground, but instead of cooking up mysterious blue powder, you’re mixing chemicals that’ll transform your film into vibrant color negatives. It’s the kind of experience that makes you feel like you should be wearing safety goggles and driving an RV in the desert, as if you’re concocting your next big breakthrough—minus the criminal activity, of course. The process? Oh, it’s like watching a high-stakes heist movie unfold right in front of you, but with fewer explosions and more... film rolls. Mixing the chemicals is a smooth operation, like you’ve just unlocked some top-secret hobbyist club, and the results? Oh, they’re beautiful—clean, crisp negatives that made me change my LinkedIn title to "Developer".So, if you’ve ever wanted to feel like you’re in an underground lab creating art in your bathroom, this is the kit to make you feel like a true amateur chemist—no Breaking Bad episodes required.

Good stuff
I've previously had powdered kits, but I think these are easier to get right. I want to say it has a slightly longer process time than the other kits have had, but I think that's ultimately probably a lot more latitude and a little more forgiving.

Simple Instructions that yield Outstanding results
The Cinestill CS41 Liquid Developing kit is outstanding. I had an expectation that this product would produce average grain and average images. I followed the instructions, including the preferred developing temperature, which is 102f. Mixing the chemicals was easy, and, If the user intends to use the full quart ratios, everything is simply “dump pre-measured products together”. I developed my first roll, and got a consistent emulsion throughout the entire roll. I did not use the presoak method, making the process a simple two step task. Photography is my casual hobby, and I normally do black-and-white. Cinestill has broadened my horizons. The product is easy to use and I recommend the kit for hobbyists who have been reluctant to take the plunge. I intend to try their other products, considering the quality, clear instructions, and consistent results.
