Ideal hole saws have amazing durability. I have purchased many sets of Klein at the supply house, only to have the teeth chip immediately. When I first purchased this ideal set years ago, I used it to cut a ton of holes in stainless panels. It still works and is finally getting dull. The arbor will wear before the carbide wear. Excellent set of hole saws.

Don't hesitate, buy this hole cutter set. I used this to cut multiple holes in Hammond Enclosure # EJ863 Junction Box and the tools worked awesome! The drilled hole sizes were accurate and the holes had hardly any burrs. The spring popped-out the center slug every time and the pilot drill...basically a center drill...started with ease. Using a center drill style pilot drill makes starting the hole much easier because of the small drill point...thin drill web...but the larger body diameter on the center drill reduces the chance for breakage. Great product, and if I need other sizes I will be going back to this brand first.

You pay for quality!

First used these 3 years ago (company supplied) for enclosure doors with up to 75 holes for switches, buttons, and lights. Much quicker then using a drill and slug buster. Loved it so much, I bought this set for myself. I cut well over a thousand holes with 1 bit in standard and stainless steel enclosures. Highly recommended.

I'm an Electrician by trade, so I bought these for work, but my purchase was 2 fold. I purchased a KOHLER K-3821-1-NA Vault Large Single Kitchen Sink with Single-Hole Faucet Drilling and want to do custom holes for my accessories. These cut through the stainless steel sink like butter, nice clean hole with no wobble. The SmoothStart pilot bit made a nice smooth start to get down to the cutter head. The cutters have a nice 3/8" shank that is stout and shouldn't bend or flex.

Tips through steel junction boxes

I'm an automation technician, so I often use them for work weekly. Unfortunately, the 7/8 " teeth just broke off after a few uses. After inspection, it looks like the teeth weren't welded very well. When you get the item, you need to ensure all are welded well before drilling them.
