J&D 2 RCA Extension Cable, RCA Cable, Gold Plated Copper Shell Heavy Duty 2 RCA Male to Female Stereo Audio Extension Cable, 4.5 Meter

I have moved my audio equipment around & needed to extend the hard wired cable from my turntable. Now, anyone who who’s familiar with Rega turntables will know Rega’s are earthed earthed through the left channel phono RCA cable. I had a cheap & nasty phono extension cable already. So I used that to start with. The humming noise was so loud, it was unbearable. So, I ordered this J&D cable. The humming has now gone completely. So this cable is well shielded. The phono plugs are relatively slim & so are a comfortable fit in tight spaces. Yet the cable itself is not thin nor overly thick either. It’s very flexible too. Overall, a very good, well made cable that’s not too expensive & works perfectly. A very worthy buy.

They went in fine. Easy to wire. Seem to be good quality.

I bought these to extend the phono leads from my record player. I was getting a hum with the cheap ones I was using before. These are silent, so obviously well shielded. You can pay hundreds for "high end" cables, so these are good value. They look nice as well.

Good product overall that feels relatively high quality and has fairly compact connectors.I've knocked off a star because the two wires are held together by the insulation and could easily be pulled apart (think back to a pair of cheap old wired headphones where you pull the two earbuds apart to the correct length). I would have preferred if there was a single cable that split into two separate cables at either end.
