RightStart™ Mathematics Level B Book Bundle

I have used Math U See, Horizon, Math in 180 days for my 6-year old son, who turned 7, without success. All those books were 'mastery' based and BORING to my child. He is an energetic, kinetic boy who is quick to learn with the right tools. I finally found RightStart, and although I have only been using it for a few weeks, I can see the radical change in his learning and motivation to do the math. RightStart doesn't make him memorize endless math facts; it allows him to visualize how numbers go together with a simple abacus and card games. 8 and 2 is not 8, 9, 10...it is a together effort by the numbers to complete a 10, and he gets that without counting o memorizing it because he visualizes first on the abacus with two different colors for each set of 5 little balls, then with cards that have numbers and his job is to match it to make a 10, and then he sees it in his mind that 8 and 2, together, complete a 10!! It is amazing! It has songs that go along with it that makes it fun for him. He has not complained yet!!!! And has actually enjoyed doing math!! I never thought I would say that!!!!!!
