This took us 2 1/2 yrs to finish but we were happy to have this as staple in our home. Anytime a recipe called for ginger we used it and it maintained its amazing flavor this whole time. We just ordered another jar thank you ❤️

Many pureed ginger pastes have sugar which totally dilutes the potency of the ginger. This one does not. The garlic is an added plus.

Someone clearly went to a lot of trouble to wrap this jar up in bubble wrap to ship it, but the damage was already done.When I unpacked this, the liquid off the pureed ginger had leaked all over the inside of the bubble wrap during shipping. When I removed the (intact) plastic freshness seal, I found the lid had a large dent in the side which broke the vacuum seal. Upon opening the lid, I found mold as well.Skipping the star rating isn't an option, but it's hard to rate this one. If someone knew the jar took the kind of hit to cause a dent this size, they should have been cautious about selling it. On the other hand, if they didn't know that, there's no way they could have seen the dent with the seal still on, although since I was smelling ginger from the moment I started unpacking it I can't say there were no signs at all that the jar's seal broke.It looks like I'm not the only one to receive a leaking jar. Maybe the lids are weak and prone to damage? I don't think I'll risk trying again.

Finding this garlic-ginger paste has added so much to my cooking. It's a punch of flavor without all the work of peeling, grating, or mincing ginger or garlic. Such a time-saver.

Good product, decent price but not sure if I'd buy again. More of a convenience item in my opinion. Taste is good but fresh garlic and ginger can't be beat.

For some reason, this is kind of hard to find anywhere but in the Indian grocery store, which closed by my house, so now I'm having to get it online. I love this stuff! It's wonderful for Indian dishes of course, but I use it a lot in to make a very flavorful ramen noodle/soup broth (mix with miso and red chile sauce), or to make marinades for tofu, or to make a yummy sauce mixed with tahini. Very versatile, great flavor, and lasts forever in the fridge.
