Not quite perfect
I (mostly) love this travel pillow. The pillow itself is contoured perfectly for my head and shoulder, and the fabric is soft and comfy. It's big enough that it doesn't slip into the gap between the seat and the window, and the firmness / feel of the memory foam is great. It keeps my head in a comfortable position. It's the only travel pillow I've found that does this. What I don't love is that it smells horrible when you first take it out of the packaging, and the strap leaves something to be desired. Although it's OK wearing it across your body and under your arm as shown on the website, I would prefer to be able to lengthen the strap so that I could attach it to the seat belt, tuck it under my leg, or some other alternative to having the strap in my armpit. I think I will make a longer strap for it, to give me more options; perhaps I'll make a little sling like this for it vaVesta - Replace Your Travel Pillow with Something Better. The strap seems good quality and I don't notice it behind my back; I just wish it were twice as long, and adjustable.I have a hard time getting to sleep even in my own bed, so a good travel pillow is worth a lot to me. So far, I purchased three types, and this is my favorite, hands down. The other two are the J-pillow Travel Pillow - Head, Chin and Neck Support - British Invention of the Year 2013. and the Push-Button Inflatable Daydreamer Neck Pillow with Airplane Travel Packsack and Luggage Clip - Gray.If you wrestle with it, you can smash it down into a quart-sized ziploc bag, and the memory foam springs back into shape right away when you release it. The first photo shows a size comparison of the three pillows with this one in its natural state; the second photo shows how much smaller it is when it has been mashed into a quart-sized bag. (This is the one on the left in both photos.)Pros and cons of the trio:This item (memory foam pillow): 5 stars(+) Memory foam insert is superb. Great contours and firmness(+) Big enough to avoid falling into crack between seat and window(+) Keeps my head from tipping forward or to side too much(+) Easy to remove fabric covering to wash(-) Product information claims it only weighs 8 oz, but it actually weighs 0.8 pounds (50% more! Bad!)(-) Bulky to travel with unless you smash it(-) Strap isn't as long as I would likeJ-Pillow 4 stars(+) The lightest of the three (0.5 pounds)(+) Soft and cozy(+) Some support under chin(-) Slides around on seat back(-) Not as much side (and chin) support as I would likeDaydreamer 3 stars(+) The smallest one(+) Light weight (0.6 pounds)(-) I worry that it will spring a leak(-) Least comfortable - pushes head forward; not enough side supportI paid the full price of $24.99 (free shipping), and I have no association with the company.

Worked very well for me
It worked pretty good! I used it on a 9 hour flight and then on the car from the airport back home. It was very comfortable. The memory foam is really nice and soft.Sleeping on a plane for me is still very difficult , but this pillow was much better than the inflatable u shape that I had.It took me a couple of minutes to work out the best positions to use it on the plane seat, but once you get used to it it's very comfortable. I was on a window seat and I usually needed to put a jacket to lean with my inflatable u shape pillow, but with this it was really comfortable just with this pillow. I think it would be really useful too on a middle seat. It's a little annoying when you want to switch the pillow to the other side and you have it attached around your body, but that attachment is what gives the support to lean your head when there is no window to lean on. I must say that it is pretty ridiculous to be seated with that around your head.It is bulky , that is annoying, but compared to the u shape memory foam ones I think this one is less bulky, and being memory foam it is much more comfortable than the inflatable ones, and you may squeeze it to compress it a little.I wish it had a hook to attach it to a backpack. And may be the strap could be covered in a softer material.I liked it. I would recommend it.

Great pillow, terrible smell.
This has to be the best pillow l ever used while travelling. It does work better on a window bc then you can lean on the side and have the actual support of the wall. The main issue is the stench, omg, it has a chemical disgusting smell that has not gone away not even by putting it out on the sun and leave it with no cover, l actually had to hand made am extra cover for inside the velvety cover it had to see if l could encapsulate the smell. It didn't work. The smell is so profound ot was disturbing. Never the less l have used it by covering it with a blanket bc its so comfortable and l am still in the hope the smell fades away with time. The elastic l did not care for, l tried to use it omce im a middle seat nit it kept on getting out of the buttom ormfalling into the back seat person with the elastic on. Even with those issues l find it very comfortable for window seat. Get the case if you want to compress it, its worth the expense, its good sturdy quality, although the zipper is not the best.

Neat concept, but it broke =(
It arrived with a clear plastic tote which I liked and was made of a comfortable material. I wanted it to use on my first oversees flight. The concept made sense because most neck pillows are too low and you end up bending your neck way over to wake up with a crick in the neck. This would allow you to lean on something with support. Unfortunately, two hours into the multi-hour flight, it broke. The strap hooks onto the pillow by two buttons, but the elastic cord running through the pillow snapped making for a long sleepless flight. I was in the middle seat. On my fight back home, i tried using it on the wall of my window seat, but the curvature of the plane caused my head to touch the wall before the pillow could. The pillow needed to be taller in my opinion and the design needs to be reconfigured... Even with strap across my body, overtime the pillow would move. The foam also conducted a lot of heat.I gave this product 2 stars because it has potential and because the company returned it without issue, giving me a refund. I hope that they correct the design because the concept is still good.
