very nice item
This is one of the best user manuals I've ever come across. Every feature and it's applications are explained in fine detail.

Well structured and explained guide
This book is a very well planned right up and also provides additional information in terms of photography to help the intermediate and beginner to get to understand the D7000 so much better!

Easy to read and understand. Not too expanded though :(
This is my second field guide for the D7000 and I find that this guide is easier to read and understand than the Nikon Manual and the other Field Guide that I own. I can't say that it has a lot of additional advice for taking better pictures over the other guide, but it made understanding the controls on the camera easier to pickup. Overall a good guide for a new camera owner.

Failed to deliver
I usually do not do negative reviews; so I'll try to be constructive. There's nothing "expanded" about this guide; I was very dissapointed, as we say in business, there is no "value proposition". This book only restates what is already in the manual - albeit in a nicer presentation; that is there is no new material, no suggestions, no tips as in other books; compare to Lantern guide or Darryl Young's books, where the authors add their invaluable experience, they have used the camera PRIOR to writing the book, and provide their insights. There is little point getting an A+ for presentation when the content is "D-". I don't want to be rude; so I'm going to leave it at: "Wish I had my money back"

Had the D3000 expanded guide previously & this one proves to be as useful. It is easy to find sections to remind me of some little used functions. There are also lots of useful tips to help get the most from the camera.

Essential
A first class guide to the D7000. I had previously owned a D5000 so was familiar with a Nikon DSLR however this expanded guide really fills out the original handbook. This is not a guide to taking good pictures, but it is an excellent product for helping you to understand just what your camera can do. I keep it with my camera bag and constantly refer to it.

The missing handbook
Nikon sell a scruffy B/W handbook seperately from their cameras? But they only tell you about the features. Jon Sparks not only illustrates them in colour but tells you how to use your camera. Never leave home without your camera or this invaluable guide!

Very Handy
This is an ideal book to get to know this camera. It's well illustrated with a good layout and some fantastic images taken with this camera model. Can highly recommend it.
