Disney Frozen MagiClip Flip 'N Switch Castle and Elsa Doll

My three-year-old daughter is a Frozen fan (surprise, surprise) and I needed a smaller gift for her for Christmas. I came upon this and we didn't have any of the MagiClip dolls but thought it would be very age-appropriate for her to help inspire her imagination so I ordered it.When I first opened this toy, I thought it was beautifully-made and perfect for Frozen fans! The castle measures approximately seven inches at the highest point and has a couple "rooms" to use. Before you can use the toy, you have to insert the floor and the balcony. The light purple floor has a pretty snowflake design and the castle has designs on the walls to make it appear decorated. The snowflake door on the side can open but it's slightly flimsy so it might not survive a lot of rough playing. There is a plastic chandelier at the top of the ceiling and the blue top of the castle sparkles. The outside of the castle is designed with snowflakes and the reverse side of the castle has a balcony that is made to emulate the one in the movie.Elsa herself stands approximately four inches high. She is made entirely of plastic, including her braid, and her light blue shoes are painted on. Her head swivels from side to side and her arms and legs move. When her dress is removed, she appears to be wearing a swimsuit. Her dress can be removed by squeezing the bottom together and the same is done to put the dress back on. The dress is turquoise with snowflake designs you can actually feel. My daughter still needs some help with the dress but I would think older children would be able to play with the dress by themselves. The one thing that differs with our set versus the picture online is that Elsa's crown on our doll is blue and the picture online shows it is gold. My daughter wouldn't know the difference but I wanted to mention this for any older children who may notice the difference. This set also comes with a pink vanity that stands about four inches tall with a mirror on one side and a place to hang Elsa's dress on the other side when she isn't wearing it. There are two tiny perfume bottles for the vanity but they are so small that they would get lost or end up in my kids' mouths so I stashed those away for when she is a bit older.Overall, I think this is a nice toy for any Frozen fan and so far my daughter has had fun playing with it. I think she may still be slightly young to enjoy all parts of this toy but she should grow into it. If thrown, this toy could potentially break but it should withstand normal, everyday play. I think my daughter will enjoy this for years to come and I recommend it to anyone who needs a gift for a Frozen fan! It's nicely priced and great for inspiring imaginations!

This is really cute. I wish it was a bit bigger, but for the price, it makes sense. I bought the Anna set with the mirror to go with this set for more complete play. My 4 year old son loves Frozen, so this was a big hit. We bring it with us to restaurants in a ziplock bag and take it out and play at the table with it while we are waiting for our food. He likes to make the dolls talk to each other and look in the mirror and he likes the little "perfume bottles" it comes with and he pretends to have her use them. We got this on sale marked down to about $11, so I think it was worth it for that. If I paid full price, I probably wouldn't have been as satisfied. It is a cute little toy, but definitely needs to be added to other Frozen pieces for it to be more complete.

This was purchased as a birthday present for my four year old daughter. She had previously received the Disney Princess Glitter Glider Castle for Christmas, which she loved, so we were excited to get an accessory piece that would attach to it. Plus, she loves Elsa, so this seemed like a can't miss present!However, we were disappointed to find out that this castle doesn't firmly attach itself the Glitter Glider castle. Yes, you can sort of slide one piece into the other, but they don't actually attach in any way, so in the course of normal play it constantly becomes dislodged.My daughter still plays with it, but always on its own and rarely with the actual big castle. She enjoys it, but I think we're a little disappointed to it doesn't work as advertised.

Came a day early, totally cute and my 5 year old daughter loves it. The castle is easy to put together, and the accessories are adorable, although the wand and 2 other trinkets (perfume bottles?) are really tiny and will probably be lost within the week.The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 though is that the set DOES NOT come with the little pink dress form/mannequin shown in the picture... Totally misleading, I wish that I had read the other reviews before purchase, not that it would have mattered since this was what my daughter had her heart set on. Luckily she didn't seem to notice or she probably would have been upset.

My 4 year old is obsessed with the MagiClip dolls, so she loves this!Just put this together today for my daughter after opening Christmas gifts. She loves it. I didn't realize the little snowflake on the right was a door. My daughter discovered it and thought it was so cool. The little dress model shown in some of the pictures is not included, though. Or, at least, it was not in my set.Connected well with the Cinderella Glitter Glider castle.

My 3 year old daughter has fallen in love with the clip dolls. Grandma bought this one and Anna for her for Christmas and now all she wants for holidays is clip dolls and Ninja Turtles.The clips are very well made and are really kind of neat, in that the princesses can share dresses, and all fit in the same dress. My daughter has stepped on them several times and has made the mechanism pop out, but it only takes about ten seconds to get it all realigned and it's operable again. At first, she had trouble putting the dresses on the right way, but I'm chalking that up to her being 3 and not really noticing the difference between male and female anatomy. She seems to have no problem with it now. All in all, I'm very impressed with the clip on dolls.

My 3 yr old granddaughter started playing with "Elsa" and didn't stop til time to go home. The "castle" is pretty small with not much to it, but right now "Elsa" is on her balcony talking to "Anna" on her balcony. The dress is easy for little fingers to manipulate and I am quite pleased with the way my granddaughter can dress the doll by herself. She can squeeze the bottom to slip the doll in feet first at the neck. This one is a keeper according to this 3 yr old.
