The blade is tough and comes very sharp, saw sucks
The blade is a certified hacking machine. I hacked into ash logs, not branches, didn't even phase it. Turned it over to saw...its got a double row of teeth that makes sawing way too difficult. It looks BA but functionally, the saw is no bueno.

Not well made.
I bought this for work and camping. I have used it twice now and there are chunks missing from the blade and I only used it for smaller tree trimming. I think they need to rethink the design for the edge geometry. The blade is too thin and flimsy to support itself when hacking at things. The saw blade side is phenomenal. Also, when removing from the sheath it the blade tears it up and destroys it. May wanna rethink that design too. Don’t buy this

Battle ready for 4-5 battles or more.
Doesn't bend. Sharp enough to shave my face. Lightweight. I could saw a small tree easily with it. Or scale fish. Easily hides if needed. I d say batte ready enough for 4-5 battles. No blood groove needed as the top serrations are very well designed.

Better than expected.
This is just what I have been looking for. Very sharp out of the box and comfortable to swing. This is a well balanced and very sharp tool. I am glad I went ahead a bought two.

Avoid This Product
I purchased this kit from Woodcraft (apologies, Amazon) last summer. I made Koa wood scales for it and used a mosaic pin in the center hole. It looked terrific and felt good in the hand. I was pleased with the result.Had a chance to use it to clear some old wild grape vines and aspen saplings, none thicker than my thumb. A few minutes in the edge started to deform (see images). Finished the job with my rusty, trusty $10 Harbor Freight cheapo machete.I contacted Camillus/Acme customer service in early November, 2021. They asked me to return it for a replacement kit. I sent it back the first week of November. It is now mid-March, 2022 and I am still waiting.Bottom line - Poor product, poorer customer service (Camillus, NOT Amazon).

A pretty face
Looks great n sexy, it's sharp, I was expecting a longer blade and a thicker handle, compared to the weight of the tool and especially when you want to swing it, handle is not easy to hold

The knife cover box was not good,
The knife cover box was not good, with a hole at the end. I injured myself once, even with the knife cover there.
